Kelotan gel is a silicone gel for topical application that is used to control old and new scars resulting from surgical procedures, injuries and burns.
What can Kelotan Gel help with?
- May aid healing and prevent extensive and abnormal scarring.
- Prevents the formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars.
- Softens and smoothes relief marks.
- Reduces redness.
- Relieves itching and discomfort.
How does it work?
Kelotan Gel dries within minutes, forming a flexible, breathable waterproof layer over the affected area. This invisible silicone layer bonds to the stratum corneum to protect the underlying tissue from chemical, biological and microbial influence on the scar and provides an optimal environment for healing and achieving aesthetic results.
Directions for use: For external use only. Apply a thin layer of Kelotan gel to the cleansed and dry skin of the affected area twice a day. Once dry, it can be covered with a compression bandage, sunscreen, or cosmetics. If the area is not dry within 4-5 minutes, you have probably used more than necessary. Carefully remove the excess and allow to dry.
Recommended duration of treatment: 60 - 90 days. For larger or older scars, treatment may take longer.
To prevent hypertrophic scars and keloids, apply Kelotan gel immediately after wound healing or suture removal.
Warnings:
Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third degree burns and open wounds. It should not be used in dermatological conditions that disrupt the integrity of the skin.
Store in a dry place out of the reach of children.
