What does Deanxit

The active ingredients are flupentixol ( as dihydrochloride ) and melitracene ( as hydrochloride)
Each tablet Deanxit sugar coating contains flupentixol dihydrochloride , corresponding to 0.5 mg flupentixol and melitracene hydrochloride corresponding to 10 mg melitracene.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, starch , gelatin , talc, and magnesium stearate.
Coating: gelatine , sucrose , sucrose powder , wax coating - a mixture of beeswax , carnauba wax and white wax.
Colorants Deanxit ( erythrosine E127 and indigotine , E132 ) .
This product contains lactose and sucrose . If you have been told by your doctor that you have intolerance to some sugars , contact your doctor before taking this medicine .

2 . BEFORE YOU TAKE DEANXIT
Do not take Deanksit
■ If you are hypersensitive ( allergic ) to flupentixol, melitracene or any of the other ingredients of Deanksit listed above (see What does Deanxit ) . Consult your doctor if you think you might be .
■ If you have recently had a heart attack (myocardial infarction)
■ If you have heart rhythm problems that are detected on an electrocardiogram (ECG )
■ If both accept and medicine known as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor ( MAOI ) .
MAO-B inhibitors include drugs such as phenelzine, iproniazid , isocarboxazid , nialamide , tranylcypromine and moclobemide , which are also used for treatment of depression . Even if you have stopped taking any of the following MAOIs : phenelzine, iproniazid , isocarboxazid , nialamide, tranylcypromine or will have to wait 2 weeks before you start taking Deanksit tabletki.Tryabva to wait a day after you have stopped taking moclobemide .

Taking other medicines

• Tricyclic antidepressant

• Ephedrine , isoprenaline, noradrenaline , phenylephrine , and phenylpropanolamine ( which are contained in certain treatments for cold)
• Anticholinergic agents (eg atropine, hyoscyamine )
• Drugs that lower blood pressure
• Medications that cause drowsiness
• Medicines for epilepsy
• Levodopa (used to treat Parkinson's disease )
• Metoclopramide (used for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases )
• Piperazine (used to treat intestinal worms )
In case of surgery and you should have applied general or local anesthetics have to report that taking Deanksit . You should also tell your dentist that you are taking Deanksit if you need to have a local anesthetic .
 
3 . HOW TO TAKE DEANXIT
How much to take

If you forget to take Deanxit
If you forget to take a dose , take the next regular time. Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses .
4 . POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

As with all medicines, Deanksit can have side effects and some people may experience while taking them Deanksit .
They are few and mild and usually disappear with continued treatment. If you find the side effects of these troublesome or last more than a few days , tell your doctor.
Dry mouth increases the risk of caries.
