ALGOZON WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR ?

Algozon used for short-term treatment of high body temperature unresponsive to other drugs or are intolerant to other temperature -lowering drugs.
Algozon is used to relieve mild to moderate acute and chronic pain , rheumatoid arthritis , headache , toothache , trauma , dysmenorrhoea and pain after surgery , when the other agents are ineffective and contraindicated.

2 . BEFORE YOU USE ALGOZON
Do not take Algozon in the following cases :
- Diseases of the hematopoietic system
- Disorders of bone marrow
- Hypersensitivity to metamnzol and pirazodovovi derivatives
- Allergic reactions to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs
- Rhinitis, urticaria, asthma
- Porfirmya (genetic disease)
- Genetic deficiency glyukoao -6- phosphate dehydrogenase
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Children under the age of 15
Take special care with Algozon :
- If you have gastrointestinal disease ( ulceration , bleeding, perforation )
- If you have kidney failure
- If you have hypertension
- If you have fluid retention and edema
- If you have liver failure
- If you have infectious diseases
- In the case of simultaneous use of chlorpromazine

During prolonged use to control blood counts and differential leukocyte counts .

Intake and use of other drugs

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Plasma levels of cyclosporine were reduced by coadministration with Algozon .
Algozon can reduce the emission of sodium and the antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors (drugs for hypertension - captopril, enalapril) .
Algozon may increase plasma concentrations of lithium and cause povishenatoksichnost .
Coadministration of coumarin anticoagulants may develop prolongation of bleeding time .
Tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives and alopurnnol potentiation of Algozon due to delays in the biotransformation .
Chloramphenicol and other myelotoxic agents increases the risk of hematotoksichnn effects.

Taking Algozon with food and drink
Alcohol potentiates the analgesic effect of Algozon .

Pregnancy and lactation

Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine. Not recommended for use Algozon during pregnancy and lactation .

Driving and using machines

Algozon can change your ability to drive or operate machinery

3 . HOW TO TAKE ALGOZON ?

Always take Algozon exactly as it said your doctor. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

adults:

Recommended 1 tablet 1-3 times daily with a glass of water. The maximum daily dose is 3 g.

In patients with acute renal failure, the dose of Algozoi should be reduced .

Children over 15 years:
The recommended dose is 250 mg of 2 - 3 times a day .

Algozon should be used for the shortest possible period of time up to 3 days if symptoms of fever does not go away, or have its use as an analgesic for more than 5-7 days, need advice.

If you take more than you should

If you forget to take Algozon

Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

4 . POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines Algozon can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them .

Common:

Leukopenia ( low number of " white cells " in the blood ;

Anaphylactic reactions - breathing problems even stop breathing in bronhospazym ; hypotension, which can lead to collapse, urticaria -like reactions anafnlaktichnnte ( cessation of breathing during bronchospasm and laryngeal edema ) and / or collapse.

very rare

Agranulocytosis ( a small number of cells in the blood called granalutsidi ) and thrombocytopenia (low blood platelets) . The main symptoms are fever agranulocytosis , necrotic ulcerative angina, and bleeding. In case of occurrence , treatment with Algozon should be discontinued .

Acute renal failure ( recently occurring a failure kidney to function normally ) or may occur ingerstitsalen nephritis ( kidney inflammation ), sometimes with nephrotic syndrome ( abnormal protein in the urine) .

Unknown asthma attack was observed in patients with asthma when taking NSAIDs. May show hives, rash makulolapulozen and isolated syndrome Lyle ( bulozei rash) ate Stevens -Johnson syndrome ( damage to the skin and mucous membranes ) .

When taken in high doses Algozon can cause lethargy , dizziness and headache, which may adversely affect alertness and impairment of response to unexpected situations.

5 . HOW TO STORE ALGOZON ?

Store at temperatures below 25 ° C, dry and protected from light . Keep out of reach of children.

Algozon not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging . The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required . These measures will help to protect the environment.
