ZENARO WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED

Zenaro belongs to the antihistamine and is used to treat symptoms associated with:
 
 allergic rhinitis, including allergic rhinitis, chronic
 hives (swelling, redness and burning, while nettle sting).
 
Antihistamines suppress unpleasant manifestations (symptoms) and symptoms related to the above conditions, such as sneezing, all signs from the nose and eyes, skin rashes.
 
The product is intended for adults and children over 6 years.
 

 BEFORE YOU TAKE ZENARO

 
Do not take Zenaro if
 
 you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active substance (levocetirizine dihydrochloride) or products containing substances with similar chemical structure (piperazine derivatives) or any of the other ingredients in Zenaro (see "What Zenaro").
 you have hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to some medication from the group of antihistamines in the past
you have severe kidney problems (ask your doctor if this applies to you.)
 
Taking other medicines
 
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
 
Taking Zenaro with food and drink
  Be careful when taking alcohol while Zenaro.
 
In susceptible patients, concomitant administration of cetirizine or levocetirizine with alcohol or other CNS depressants products act can affect the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), although it has been shown that ratsematat (cetirizine) does not amplify the effects of alcohol.
  Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, the intake is not dependent on concomitant food intake. The extent of absorption of the active ingredient in the product is not affected by food, although the rate of absorption is slightly delayed.
 
Pregnancy and lactation

 HOW TO TAKE ZENARO

 
Always Zenaro exactly as you told your doctor.

  The usual dose for adults and children over six years is 1 tablet daily.
 
If you have kidney problems, your doctor may change the dosing interval according to the severity of renal disease. In this case, follow the instructions of your doctor. If you have liver problems, no dose adjustment is required.

Zenaro is not intended for children under 6 years, since tablets do not allow proper dosing.
 
The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and course of the disease course and as directed by your doctor.
 
If you take more than the dose Zenaro
 
A large overdose can cause drowsiness. In children it may be preceded by agitation and restlessness, which later passed into somnolence. If you accidentally take a higher dose than recommended Zenaro or similar case in a child, tell your doctor who will decide what further action to take.
 
If you forget to take Zenaro

 POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

 
Like all medicines, Zenaro can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Stop taking the medication and seek immediate medical attention at the first sign of hypersensitivity (allergic) to Zenaro.
  Hypersensitivity Symptoms include swelling of the mouth, face and / or throat, or difficulty swallowing with skin reactions, resulting in localized redness, swelling and itching, difficulty breathing, sudden drop in blood pressure, loss of consciousness.
 
During treatment with levocetirizine (the active ingredient in the product), the following adverse reactions:
  Common: affects 1 to 10 users in 100 patients dry mouth, fatigue, drowsiness, headache,
  Uncommon: affects 1 to 10 users in 1,000 patients, abdominal pain, fatigue
  Very rare: affects less than 1 in 10,000 patients treated aggressive behavior or agitation, convulsions, visual disturbances, feeling palpitations, liver inflammation, hypersensitivity reaction (see above), skin rash and mucous membrane at each medication, itching and burning skin rash, hives, difficulty breathing, weight gain, nausea, muscle pain, abnormal liver function.

 HOW TO STORE ZENARO

 
Keep out of reach of children. Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
 
Zenaro Do not use after the expiry date stated on the pack. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
 
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
