VITSETIN WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED
Vitsetin has brain-protective effect. Improves metabolic processes, while significantly increasing the resistance of brain cells to oxygen deprivation. Improves cerebral circulation and oxygen transport to tissues, reducing illness increases blood viscosity and peripheral vascular resistance. Not significantly affect blood pressure. Removes dizziness, stimulate brain activity, improves hearing, eyesight and memory.
Used to treat various forms of ischemic attack (condition after stroke), dementia of vascular origin (impaired memory), cerebral arteriosclerosis, cerebral disorders after trauma and high blood pressure. Used to reduce mental and neurological symptoms in disorders of cerebral circulation in vascular disorders of ocular vascular sheath of the retina and choroid, dizziness, hearing loss from different backgrounds, ringing in the ears for treatment of vasovagal symptoms in climacteric syndrome.
BEFORE YOU USE VITSETIN
Do not use Vitsetin
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to the plant alkaloids Vinca minor (vinblastine, vincristine) or any of the excipients;
if you are pregnant or breast-feeding;
Use in children is contraindicated.
Take special care with Vitsetin
ECG monitoring is required if you have heart disease with abnormal electrocardiogram, and treatment with drugs that alter the ECG.
Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
You should tell your doctor if you are taking a medicine containing alpha-methyldopa (medicine to lower high blood pressure), drugs affecting the central nervous system, anticoagulants (drugs prevent the formation of blood clots) or antiarrhythmics (medicines used for infringements heart rhythm). Pregnancy and lactation
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
Vitsetin treatment during pregnancy and lactation is contraindicated.
Driving and operating machinery

Important information about some of the ingredients of Vitsetin
Vitsetin tablets 5 and 10 mg lactose. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
Vitsetin tablets 5 and 10 mg as an excipient contains wheat starch. Vitsetin is suitable for people with celiac disease (gluten enteropathy). Patients with wheat allergy (different from celiac disease) should not take this product.
HOW TO USE VITSETIN
Always use Vitsetin exactly as your doctor has told you. If you're not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The usual daily dose is 5-10 mg three times daily. Tablets are taken after meals with sufficient water. The maximum daily dose is 30 mg. The maintenance dose is 10-15 mg daily. Treatment is long (months, years) and is determined by your doctor.
Patients with kidney or liver disease
There is no need for dosage adjustment in patients with renal and hepatic disease.
If you take more than the dose Vitsetin
If you take a dose higher than prescribed, talk to your doctor. No cases of overdose Vitsetin.
If you forget to take Vitsetin
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If almost happened next dose, take it as usual, skip the dose you forgot. Do not take a double dose to make up. Continue to take your medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
If you stop taking Vitsetin
Do not stop treatment Vitsetin without consulting your doctor.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Vitsetin can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Adverse reactions with Vitsetin occur rarely, are transient and do not require discontinuation of therapy.
Uncommon: abdominal discomfort, dry mouth, nausea, rare: abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, vomiting, very rare dysphagia, stomatitis.
Rare: Myocardial ischemia / infarction (heart attack), angina (chest pain), speeding or slowing of the heart rate, palpitations;
Very rare: arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation.
Uncommon: low blood pressure;
Rare: blood pressure, thrombophlebitis.
Very rare: hypersensitivity (allergy).
Blood and lymphatic system
Rare: leukopenia (decrease in white blood cells), thrombocytopenia (reduced platelet count);
Very rare: anemia, clumping of red blood cells.
Metabolism and nutrition
Uncommon: increased cholesterol; rare: anorexia, diabetes.
Rare: sleep disturbances, agitation, anxiety, very rare mood, depression.
Uncommon: headache; rare: dizziness, taste disturbance, numbness, partial unilateral paresthesia, drowsiness, changes in memory, very rare tremors, convulsions.
Rare: papilloedema very rare: redness of the conjunctiva.
Ear and labyrinth disorders
Uncommon: dizziness Rare: increased or decreased sharpness of hearing, dizziness, ringing in the ears.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders
Rare: flushing, sweating, itching, urticaria (hives), very rare rash.
General disorders and administration site conditions
Rare: weakness, fatigue, feeling hot, very rare chest discomfort, decreased body temperature.
Uncommon: low blood pressure; rare: blood pressure, electrocardiogram changes (ST depression segment), changes in liver enzymes (blood triglycerides), decreased / increased eosinophils;
Very rare: decrease / increase in white blood cells, decrease in red blood cells, decreased prothrombin time, weight gain.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO STORE VITSETIN
Store in the original package to protect from light and moisture.
Do not store above 25 ° C.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use Vitsetin after the expiry date stated on the blister and carton.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.
Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
What Vitsetin tablets
The active substance is vinpotsetin 5 or 10 mg per tablet.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, wheat starch, silica colloidal anhydrous, magnesium stearate, talc, gelatin.
