VALZAP WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?
Valzap belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin blockers-II-receptors, which help to control high blood pressure Ann. Angiotenziven II is a substance that causes constriction of blood vessels, leading to increased blood pressure. Valzap works by blocking the effect of angiotensin II. This leads to dilation of blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.
Valzap tablets can be used in three different states:
Treatment of high blood pressure. High blood pressure increases the load on the heart and arteries. If left untreated, it can damage the blood vessels of the brain, heart and kidneys and can lead to stroke, heart failure or kidney failure. High blood pressure increases the risk of heart attacks. Lowering blood pressure to normal levels reduces the risk of developing these disorders.
Treat people who have suffered a recent heart attack. "Recent" means in this case between 12 hours and 10 days.
Treatment of symptomatic heart failure. Valzap used when a group of drugs called angiotensin converting enzyme / ACE / can not be used or in addition to ACE inhibitors when beta blockers can not be used. Symptoms of heart failure include shortness of breath and swelling of the legs due to fluid. It occurs when the heart muscle can not pump blood strongly enough so that supply enough blood to all parts of the body.
