VALDOXAN belongs to a group of medicines called antidepressants and you VALDOXAN appointed you to treat your depression.

If you have felt or if you develop symptoms of mania, talk to your doctor before you start taking or continue taking this medicine.

Some patients may experience increased guilt of liver enzymes in their blood during treatment. Therefore, your doctor will conduct laboratory tests to check that your liver is working properly at the beginning of treatment and periodically thereafter during treatment. HOW TO TAKE VALDOXAN
The recommended dose is one tablet at bedtime. In some cases your doctor may prescribe a higher dose, ie two tablets taken together at bedtime.
VALDOXAN begins to act on symptoms of depression in most people with depression within two weeks after the start of treatment. Your doctor may continue to give you VALDOXAN, even if you feel well enough to keep from regaining depression.
Do not stop taking your medication without consulting your doctor.
VALDOXAN is intended for oral administration. You should swallow the tablet with some water. VALDOXAN can be taken with or without food.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Common - dizziness, drowsiness, difficulty sleeping, migraines, headaches, feeling sick, diarrhea, constipation, aching pit of the stomach, severe sweating, back pain, fatigue, anxiety, elevated liver enzymes in the blood.
Uncommon - tingling in the fingers and feet, blurred vision and eczem
Rare - serious skin rashes, hepatitis
Other possible side effects - suicidal thoughts or behavior.
The active ingredient is agomelatine. Each tablet contains 25 mg of agomelatine.
