Urostim is a polybacterial immunostimulant that enhances the body's natural resistance and specific immunity to various urogenital tract infections by stimulating the humoral and cellular factors of the immune system. Activates systemic and local immunity.
The preparation Urostim is intended for oral immunotherapy and immunoprophylaxis of acute, recurrent or chronic nonspecific diseases of the urogenital tract in children and adults, regardless of the type of agent. It is especially recommended for use in cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, prostatitis, asymptomatic bacteriuria, etc. If necessary, it is given with antibiotic therapy. The use of Urostim in individuals with suppressed immunological resistance as a result of prolonged antibiotic therapy is particularly telling.
2. Before taking Urostim
Do not take Urostim if you are diagnosed with celiac disease as the preparation contains wheat starch.
Taking other medicines
No incompatibility with other medicines has been observed.

3. How to take Urostim
Urostim is given as 50 mg tablets for adults.
Urostim is administered as follows:
In the acute stage of urogenital infections, concomitantly with antibiotic therapy, one tablet should be taken in the morning before eating until symptoms disappear, but for at least 10 consecutive days.
For chronic or recurrent urogenital infections, one tablet is given in the morning before eating for 2-3 consecutive months. After a break of at least three months, a repeat course of treatment is possible.
For the prevention of postoperative complications, take one tablet daily for one month before surgery and one month after surgery.
If you take more Urostim than you should
So far, no adverse reactions have been observed with Urostim overdose.
If you forget to take Urostim
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.
Continue to take Urostim according to the established schedule.

5. How to Store Urostim

Shelf life - 3 years. Do not use Urostim after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date corresponds to the last day of the stated meat.

What Urostim contains
Active substance - each Urostim tablet contains 50 mg of lyophilized killed bacterial cultures of the following microbial species: Escherichia coli 29, Escherichia coli J5 in 3 x 109 cells, and Proteus mirabilis, Enterococcus faecalis, Klebsiella pneumoniae 0.4 x 109 cells every kind. Contains from 0.001 to 0.1 mg formaldehyde.

The tablets are white to pale brown in color with a mosaic structure. The carton contains three blisters of ten tablets each.
