TEMPALGIN WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR ?
TEMPALGIN a combination preparation which contains the active substances and Metamizol sodium triacetoneamine 4 -toluenesulfonate . Possesses pronounced and prolonged pain and lower temperature decreasing effect. These effects are due to the non-narcotic analgesic Metamizol sodium and to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis . Triacetoneamine 4toluenesulphonate is a tool that reduces Agitation and a central sedative effect . TEMPALGIN be used for short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain in the following conditions : headache , toothache and dental procedures , myalgia ( muscle pain ) , neuralgia , arthralgia ( joint pain ) .
2 . BEFORE YOU TAKE TEMPALGIN
TEMPALGIN not take if you have:
• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients
• Hypersensitivity to other pyrazolone products;
• Acute hepatic porphyria (an inherited disease with abnormal formation of red blood cells ) ;
• Intrinsic glucose- 6 - phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency ( an inherited disease with abnormal red blood cell production ) ;
• Severe renal or hepatic disease ;
• Aplastic anemia , leukopenia and agranulocytosis ( blood diseases , leading to a decrease in the number of white blood cells) ;
• Low blood pressure values below 100 mm Hg;
• If you are pregnant ( first and last quarter) or breast-feeding ;
• Tempalgin not apply to children under 15 years of age. Take special care with TEMPALGIN
Before starting treatment with TEMPALGIN tell your doctor :
• If you have blood disorders associated with reducing the number of leukocytes ;
• If you suffer from allergies , hypersensitivity to analgesic and antirheumatic drugs ( analgesics intolerance ) , as well as other medications or foods;
• If you have low blood pressure.
• if you have impaired renal or hepatic function . Using other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Treatment may be affected if you take both: drugs that suppress the central nervous system protivobolkovi , anti-inflammatory , contraceptive drugs coumarin anticoagulants (drugs that reduce blood clotting) , chlorpromazine (a medicine to treat mental illness) , chloramphenicol ( antibiotic) , cyclosporin ( a drug for the treatment of tumor diseases) , hypnotics . Driving and using machines
TEMPALGIN diminishes alertness and slows conditioned reflexes , and therefore should not be used by drivers of motor vehicles and operating machinery .
Important information about some of the ingredients of TEMPALGIN
This product contains wheat starch. May be dangerous for patients with celiac disease (gluten enteropathy ) .
3 . HOW TO TAKE TEMPALGIN?
Dose and duration of treatment is determined by your doctor . It is important to take your medicine as your doctor prescribes. You should not change the dose or discontinue treatment without first consulting your doctor even if you feel well . Try to take the medicine at the same time each day. The tablets were taken with water , preferably after the meal. Depending on the response duration of the treatment is 3-5 days. Adults - 1 tablet 3-4 times a day .
In dental procedures 1 tablet 30 minutes before the intervention. Maximum daily dose of 6 tablets.
Children over 15 years - 1 tablet 2 times daily.
If you take more dose TEMPALGIN
In cases of administration of a large dose of drug could be observed :
nausea, dizziness , abdominal pain , disorders of the central nervous system fatigue to loss of consciousness , severe decrease in blood pressure to shock (loss of consciousness with a drop in blood pressure) and heart rhythm disturbances .
If any of these symptoms , stop taking the drug immediately and consult a doctor !
If you forget to take TEMPALGIN
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible . If almost time for your next dose , take it as usual. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Continue to take your medicine as prescribed.
4 . POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines , TEMPALGIN can have side effects. They did not occur in all patients , so you can not get any response.
TEMPALGIN generally well tolerated . Possible hypersensitivity reactions - skin rash, itching. Rarely observed laryngeal edema , asthma attack or anaphylactic reaction ( severe life-threatening allergic conditions ) . Rarely observed headache, dizziness , low blood pressure , rapid heartbeat , nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain , bleeding , yellowing , changes in blood counts , changes in liver function tests . At high doses, possible impairment of renal function. If any of the side effects gets serious, or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5 . STORAGE TEMPALGIN
Protected from light. Store in original container. Keep out of reach of children.

What does TEMPALGIN?
Each tablet contains the active ingredients TEMPALGIN metamizol sodium (metamizole sodium) 500 mg, triacetoneamine 4toluenesulphonate (triacetonamine 4 -toluensulfonate) 20 mg .
Other ingredients are: corn starch , microcrystalline cellulose , magnesium stearate, talc , povidone K 25
