Quetiapine belongs to a group of medicines called antipsychotics, which help to control the symptoms of mental illness called schizophrenia. These symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, abnormal behavior, which can be aggressive and become closed and depressed.
Quetiapine can also be used in the treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes. These episodes cause periods of endless cheerfulness and increased activity. People with this condition may become unusually irritable, may need less sleep than normal and have rapidly changing thoughts. BEFORE YOU TAKE TEVAQUEL
Do not take TEVAQUEL and tell your doctor if:
- Are allergic to quetiapine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- Are taking medicines to treat AIDS
- Agree azole antifungals such as ketoconazole or itraconazole
- Taking antibiotics erythromycin or clarithromycin
- Agree nefazodone for depression
Take special care with Tevaquel if you:
- Suffer from low blood pressure

- You have liver problems

HOW TO TAKE TEVAQUEL
Always take Tevakvel exactly as your doctor has told you. If you're not sure, ask your doctor.
The usual starting dose is 50 mg. During the first four days of treatment will take increasing number of tablets. Method of administration

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Very common - dizziness, drowsiness, headache
