What TevaBehist 24 mg tablets is and what it is used?
Betahistine is a substance similar to histamine, which is normally located in the human body. Betahistine works by reducing the signals at the center of the balance in the brain, causing dizziness.
TevaBehist 24 mg tablets used for the treatment of Meniere's disease which is manifested by:
• dizziness / vertigo (with nausea and / or vomiting)
• hearing loss (hard of hearing)
• tinnitus (ringing in the ears)

2. Before you take TevaBehist 24 mg tablets
Do not take TevaBehist 24 mg tablets:
- With hypersensitivity (allergy) to betahistinov hydrochloride or to any of the excipients
- If you have an adrenal gland tumor (pheochromocytoma) during pregnancy and lactation in children and adolescents under the age of 18

Take special care with TevaBehist 24 mg tablets:
TevaBehist 24 mg tablets should be used with caution if:
- Suffering from a stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, due to risk of dyspepsia (heartburn, heartburn, nausea, stomach discomfort) during treatment
- Suffer from chronic respiratory diseases (asthma)
- Suffer from hives (urticaria), skin rashes or allergic rhinitis (there is an increased risk of worsening of allergy symptoms during treatment with betahistinov dihydrochloride)

Taking other medicines

Taking TevaBehist 24 mg tablets with food and drink
There are no special restrictions on the intake of certain foods and beverages during treatment with this product.
The product should be taken with meals. Pregnancy and lactation
Before you take any other drugs, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The safety of betahistine during pregnancy and lactation has not been established and therefore the product is not recommended for use in pregnant and lactating women.

Driving and using machines
Betahistine usually does not affect alertness and ability to concentrate attention, but sometimes drowsiness may occur during treatment with the product. As a result, it may temporarily impair the ability to drive and use machines.

3. How to take TevaBehist 24 mg tablets?

If you take more dose TevaBehist 24 mg tablets than necessary
If you or someone else has taken too much TevaBehist 24 mg tablets, immediately call your doctor.
Symptoms of overdose include headache, flushing, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, drop in blood pressure, difficulty breathing due to constriction of the bronchi (bronchial asthma) and swelling of the lining of the upper respiratory tract (edema edema).
Overdose is necessary to evacuate the stomach by inducing vomiting, gastric probe and lavage, and to apply appropriate drugs for treatment of the symptoms of overdose. If symptoms of overdose, immediately call a doctor.

If you forget to take TevaBehist 24 mg tablets
If you forget to take a tablet, take it as soon at the next regular intake. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above 25 ° C.
