Symbicort Turbuhaler What is and what it is used?

Usual adult dose: The recommended maintenance dose is 2 inhalations per day, taken as one inhalation in the morning and an evening or two inhalations in the morning or 2 inhalations evening. For some patients adequate maintenance dose of 2 inhalations twice daily.

Contact your doctor:
If you need to take more inhalations to relieve asthma symptoms without an improvement in asthma control within 2 weeks or if you regularly take more than 8 inhalations a day.
Children and adolescents under 18 years: Symbicort maintenance and relief therapy is not recommended in children and adolescents.
Symbicort maintenance therapy in COPD
Usual adult dose: 2 inhalations twice daily.
If you use more Symbicort than necessary:
Take only as inhalations as prescribed by your doctor. More frequent inhalation will increase the risk of side effects.
