WHAT Stresam AND WHAT IT IS USED?

Stresam is anxiolytic and used to reduce the variety of emotional and physical effects (palpitations, feeling jam lump in the throat, feeling of suffocation) associated with a state of anxiety.

2. BEFORE TAKE Stresam

Do not take Stresam
if you are hypersensitive to etifoksin or any of the other ingredients of Stresa
if you are in a state of shock
if have severe liver disease
if have severe renal insufficiency
if you have myasthenia (disease associated with muscle weakness)

Take special care with Stresam

if you suffer from moderate respiratory failure, tell your doctor

Taking other medicines

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Taking Stresam with food and drink

Stresam should not be taken with alcohol.
If in doubt always ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Pregnancy and lactation

Not recommended for use Stresam during pregnancy and lactation. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.

Driving and using machines

Do not drive as Stresa can cause drowsiness.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Stresam

This product contains lactose. Unsuitable for people with lactase deficiency, galactosemia or glucose / galactose malabsorption syndrome.

3. HOW TO TAKE Stresam?

Always take Stresam just as you have been told by your doctor. If you're not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose is 3-4 capsules per day divided into 2 or 3 doses with meals.
Stresa therapy should not last more than 12 weeks.
The efficacy and safety in patients below 18 years have not been established.

If you take more dose Stresam

In case of accidental poisoning or the great quantity of capsules Stresa, tell your doctor immediately. In cases of overdose, gastric lavage performed, followed by symptomatic treatment (traces respiratory and liver function and overall condition). There is no specific antidote.

If you forget to take Stresam

Do not take a double dose to make up the missed dose.

If you stop taking Stresam

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, Stresa can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Nervous system disorders

Very common (> 1/10): slight drowsiness, appears at the beginning of treatment and disappear immediately during treatment.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders Rare (> 1/10 000 to <1/1 000): skin rashes

Very rare (<1/10 000): allergic reactions (urticaria, angioedema, face edema)

Hepatobiliary disorders

Very rare (<1/10 000): hepatitis, hepatic enzymes increased
Reproductive system and breast

Very rare (<1/10 000): menstrual irregularities and increased uterine bleeding, hyperprolactinemia

If you experience skin disorders, hepatobiliary disorders, treatment should be discontinued immediately.

5. HOW TO STORE Stresam?

Keep out of reach of children.

Stresa Do not use after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Store at 25 ° C at normal humidity.

Medicines should not be disposed of in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

The active substance is etifoksin hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, talc, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
