Sermion is used in the following conditions:
Acute and chronic cerebral metabolic vascular disorders (disorders of nutrition and blood supply to the brain), as a result of arteriosclerosis (vascular disease), thrombosis (blockage of blood vessels by a blood clot) and embolism of cerebral vessels.

What's in your medicine
Each coated tablet containing 10 mg nicergoline.
Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium.
Film-coating: gum arabic, gum sandarac, rosin, talc, magnesium carbonate, a dye (E171), carnauba wax, sucrose.
Each pack contains 50 coated tablets.
 

 
What does your medicine
Sermion is used in the following conditions:
? Acute and chronic cerebral metabolic-vascular disorders (eating disorders and blood supply to the brain) due to arteriosclerosis (blood vessel disease), thrombosis (blood clot in a blood vessel by a blood clot) and cerebral vascular embolism (blockage of brain vessels Detach from elsewhere clot), transient disorders of cerebral circulation (transient ischemic attack);

Before you start to take your medicine should not take Sermion if:
• you are allergic to any component of the drug;
• You had a recent myocardial infarction;
• have acute hemorrhage;
• have severe bradycardia (slow heart rate)
• get dizzy or fainting when getting up from lying down.

Precautions during treatment with Sermion
If Sermion taken as your doctor prescribes, it does not affect blood pressure. People with hypertension can cause, however, the progressive decrease in blood pressure.
If you have kidney disease, tell your doctor. He may decide to reduce the dose of the drug.
Tell your doctor if you have elevated uric acid or suffer from gout. He will decide how to take the medicine.
 
Pregnancy and lactation

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It will consider whether to take it and how to do this.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
 
Can Sermion be administered concurrently with other drugs
Please tell your doctor if you take medicines used to lower blood pressure (calcium channel blockers, beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, diuretics, etc..) And if you are taking any medications for gout or lowering uric acid.
It is advisable to tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, whether written by a doctor or purchased without a prescription.
 
In what doses administered Sermion

Sermion the dose is 5-10 mg three times a day at regular intervals.
Dose, duration of treatment and route of administration are based on the clinical case. Sometimes it is preferable to start treatment parenterally and continued as oral maintenance therapy:
Patients with impaired kidney function, your doctor may decide to decrease the dose of Sermion if you have kidney disease.
 
How to take Sermion

Cause an adverse Sermion
Overall, Sermion well tolerated. Have been described only rarely in the side effects which are clinically not severe, e.g., hypotension (blood pressure lowering), gastric disorders, such as dyspepsia (heartburn), nausea, vomiting, vertigo, dizziness, flushing, skin rash, somnolence insomnia.

Can you drive a car or operate machinery and unsafe places while taking Sermion
So far no evidence of a negative impact of Sermion on ability to drive and use machines or unsafe places.

Take care of your medicine! This medicine is for you. Do not give it to others. It may not be appropriate.
Do not store above 25 ° C.
