For the treatment of bacterial infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to roxithromycin:
- Respiratory infections: respiratory pneumonia, especially those caused by mycoplasma and chlamydia (Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydia psittaci (ornithosis) or Chlamydia pneumoniae (TWAR).
- Infections of the ear, nose and throat: tonsillitis, pharyngitis and acute otitis media in patients who are hypersensitive to beta-lactams, or when such treatment is not suitable for other reasons.
- Urogenital infections caused by certain pathogens (Chlamydia trachomatis)

Contraindications

Roxistad 150 should not be used:
