Take special care with Rosukard

 
 If you have kidney problems
  If you have liver problems
  If you had multiple unexplained muscle pain, personal or family history of muscle problems, or a history of transient muscle problems when taking medicines to lower cholesterol.
  If you regularly drink large amounts of alcohol
  If your thyroid gland is not working properly
  If you are taking other medicines called fibrates to reduce your cholesterol.

Pregnancy and lactation:

How to take Rosukard?

 
Initial dose:
 
Your Rosukard treatment should be initiated with a dose of 5 mg or 10 mg, even if you take a higher dose of another statin before.

have kidney problems
 
Increasing the dose and maximum daily dose:

If you started with a dose of 5 mg, your doctor may decide to double to 10 mg, then 20 mg and thereafter if necessary to 40 mg. The maximum daily dose is 40 mg. It is only for patients with high cholesterol levels and increased risk of heart attack or stroke whose cholesterol levels are not lowered enough with 20 mg.
 
Swallow the pill whole, with water.
 
You can pick it up at any time of day.

Possible side effects:

 
Stop taking Rosukard and seek immediate medical attention if you have:

Common - headache, stomach pain, constipation, malaise, muscle pain, weakness, dizziness, increasing the amount of protein in the urine
