What is in your medicine?

One tablet contains 10 Renovia 10 mg lercanidipine hydrachloride
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, povidone K30, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide, macrogol 6000, iron oxide

WHEN NOT TO BE USED RENOVIA?

 
You should not take Renovia in the following cases:
If you have had an allergic reaction to similar medicines or to any of the excipients.
 If you are pregnant or breast-feeding
If you want to get pregnant or not you have taken birth control measures
 If you are pregnant, consult your doctor
 If you suffer from heart disease, uncontrolled heart failure, abnormal blood flow from the heart, unstable angina or have had a heart attack before less than one month
 If you have severe liver or kidney disease
 If you are taking medicines containing cyclosporine, oral antifungals, macrolide antibiotics or oral antivirals for HIV
 Avoid consumption of grapefruit juice
 
What you should know before starting treatment with RENOVIA?
 
Caution is advised if you have certain heart conditions and / or if necessary placement of a pacemaker. Your doctor should be informed and to take into account before appointing Renovia
If you suffer from mild to moderate impaired hepatic or renal function or if you are on dialysis, tell your doctor to adjust the dose of medication if necessary.
Each tablet contains 30 mg lactose and therefore should not be used in patients with lactase insufficiency, galactosaemia or glucose / galactose malabsorption.
 
CAN BE APPLIED IN CHILDREN RENOVIA?
 
Due to lack of experience, Renovia should not be used in patients under 18 years of age.
 

CAN BE APPLIED RENOVIA IN ELDERLY PATIENTS?

 
There is no need for dose adjustment. Particular attention is needed at the beginning of treatment.

You should not take Renovia if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or not you have taken birth control measures do not apply Renovia

DRIVE AND USE MACHINES

HOW AND HOW LONG SHOULD APPLY RENOVIA?

SIDE EFFECTS?
