OPATANOL is a medicine for the treatment of allergic conditions of the eye. It works by reducing the intensity of the allergic reaction.
OPATANOL is a clear liquid (solution) supplied in plastic bottles of 5 ml (type DROP-TAINER ®) with a screw cap. Medicinal product may be packaged in containers (cardboard box) one or three plastic bottles from 5ml with screw cap. (Not all pack sizes to the market.) 


Do not use OPATANOL ...
If you are allergic to olopatadine (olopatadine) or to any of the excipients
Consult with your doctor.
Take more care with OPATANOI
  Do not use OPATANOL in children under three (3) years.
  If you are breastfeeding - do not use OPATANOL, can penetrate into your milk.
  If you wear contact lenses - do not use the drops while your contact lenses in your eyes. After using OPATANOL wait 10-15 minutes before inserting contact lenses. OPATANOL contain a preservative (benzalkonium chloride) that can damage soft contact lenses.
If you are pregnant or likely to become pregnant, talk to your doctor before using OPATANOL.

Driving and operating machinery

It is just after you OPATANOL may find that your vision is blurred. You should wait until your vision is clear and only then to drive or operate machinery.

OPATANOL and other medicinal products

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking / or have recently taken / any other medicines. Usual dosage
Adults and children over 3 years: one drop in the affected eye / eyes twice a day (morning and evening). Use this much unless your doctor has told you different. Use OPATANOL in both eyes, so if your doctor tells you. Use OPATANOL as long as your doctor.
Use only as OPATANOL drops!


Prepare OPATANOL bottle and a mirror. Wash your hands
 Take the bottle and twist the cap.
  Hold the bottle between his fingers, so that it points down.
  Tilt the head back. Pull down your eyelid with a clean finger, until there is a 'pocket' between the eyelid and your eye. The drop should go in this place
  Bring the bottle tip close to the eye. Use a mirror if it helps.
  Do not touch the eye or eyelid, surrounding areas or other surfaces with the tip of the bottle. So there is a risk of contamination of the drops.
  Gently squeeze the bottle (at the base) to release one drop OPATANOL.

  Repeat these steps for your other eye if you use drops in both eyes.
  After use, immediately place the cap on the bottle and seal it well.
  Do not open the next bottle before you've used up the contents of the first.
If a drop misses your eye - try again.
If in your eyes bigger, rinse with warm water. More drops until it's time for the next dose.
If you miss a dose OPATANOL, put it as soon as possible (if you remember) and go back to your regular routine. Do not add free falling drops twice as much to restore lost.
If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 to 10 minutes between putting in OPATANOL and the other drops.

It is assumed that a small proportion of patients using OPATANOL can be observed adverse reactions. They can be unpleasant, but most of them quickly izchezvat.Nay frequently observed adverse reaction was ocular discomfort, manifested as a burning and stinging.

Packaging should be discarded four weeks after first opening to prevent infections. Write the date of opening on each pack it in the space on the label and carton (indicated by OPEN). Container containing only one bottle is required to write only one date.
