Nebivolol Sandoz WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED
Nebivolol Sandoz contains nebivolol cardiovascular medicine belonging to the class of selective beta-blockers. It prevents the increase in heart rate and control the power of izpobpvane heart. It also dilates blood vessels, which helps to lower blood pressure.
Used to treat high blood pressure.
Nebivolol Sandoz is also used to treat mild and moderate chronic heart failure in patients aged 70 years or more, in addition to other therapies.
BEFORE YOU TAKE Nebivolol Sandoz
Do not take Nebivolol Sandoz:
If you are allergic to nebivolol or any of the other ingredients of Nebivolol Sandoz
If you have one or more of the following offenses:
Serious circulation problems in the arms or legs
Very slow heartbeat
Some other heart rhythm problems
Heart failure, which occurred recently or has deteriorated lately, or receive treatment for circulatory shock due to acute heart failure with intravenous systems to support the work of your heart
Metabolic disorder such as diabetes metoatsidoza.
Nebivolol Sandoz INTAKE OF FOOD AND DRINKS
Nebivolol Sandoz can be taken with food or on an empty stomach is best, however, to take the tablets with water.
Pregnancy and lactation
Nebivolol Sandoz should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. Not recommended for use during breastfeeding.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
DRIVE AND USE MACHINES
This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. If this applies to you, do not drive or operate machinery.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Nebivolol Sandoz
This product contains lactose. If your doctor told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
HOW TO TAKE Nebivolol Sandoz
Always take Nebivolol Sandoz exactly as your doctor tells you. If you're not sure, ask your doctor.
Nebivolol Sandoz can be taken before, during or after a meal. It is best to take the tablets with water.
Treatment of hypertension:
The usual dose is one tablet daily. Preferably, the dose should be taken every day at the same time.
Elderly patients and patients with kidney problems usually start with 1/2 tablet daily.
Therapeutic effect on blood pressure was observed after 1-2 weeks of treatment. In some cases, the optimal effect was observed after 4 weeks.
Treatment of chronic heart failure:
Your treatment should be initiated and supervised by an experienced physician.
Your doctor will start you on a 1/4 tablet daily. The dose may be increased after 1-2 weeks to 1/2 tablet daily, then to 1 tablet daily and then to 2 tablets a day until the optimal dose for you.
The maximum recommended dose is two tablets daily
You must be under the supervision of an experienced doctor for two hours at the start of treatment and whenever the dose is increased
Your doctor may lower your dose if needed.
You should not stop treatment abruptly as this can lead to worsening of heart failure.
Patients with severe kidney disease should not take this medicine.
Take your medicine once a day, preferably at the same time of day.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Nebivolol Sandoz can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
When Nebivolol Sandoz is used to treat high blood pressure, possible side effects are:
Common side effects:
headache, dizziness, fatigue, unusual itching or tingling, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, shortness of breath, swelling of the hands or feet.
Uncommon side effects:
slow heartbeat or other heart problems, low blood pressure, spasm-like pain in the legs when walking, abnormal vision, impotence, feelings of depression, digestive disorders, flatulence and bowel, skin rash, itching, shortness of breath and asthma, because vnemapen spasm of the muscles around the airways
Very rare side effects:
fainting, swelling of the lips, eyes or tongue, with the danger of sudden difficulty in breathing, worsening of psoriasis
HOW TO KEEP NEBIVOLOV Sandoz
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use Nebivolol Sandoz after the expiry date stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
Should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required.
What Nebivolol Sandoz:
The active substance is nebivolol. Each tablet contains 5.45 mg nebivololov hydrochloride equivalent to 5 mg of nebivolol.
The other ingredients are: croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose 5 Wed, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
