WHAT NATRIUM BROMATUM SOPHARMA and WHAT IT IS USED
Natrium bromatum is a drug that has a sedative ( calming ) and anticonvulsant action. It is used for acute agitation , anxiety and fearful experiences .
2 . BEFORE YOU USE NATRIUM BROMATUM SOPHARMA
Do not use Natrium bromatum Sopharma
• if you are allergic (hypersensitive ) to the active substance or to any of the ingredients of the product;
• if you have severe liver or kidney disease ;
• tuberculosis ;
• Generalized atherosclerosis ;
• in cachexia (severe malnutrition cachexia ) ;
• in severe dehydration ;
• in the presence of gastro -intestinal diseases , that can cause a vomiting and diarrhea ;
• When dermatitis ( inflammatory skin diseases ) ;
• If seizures in acute poisoning with strychnine or tetanus ;
• during pregnancy and lactation .
Take special care with Natrium bromatum Sopharma
Inform your doctor :
• if you are on a low-salt diet ;
• if you have gastrointestinal problems such as vomiting , diarrhea or constipation.
Using other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Tell your doctor if you are taking saluretics ( water tablets ) , digoxin (used to treat heart failure and other cardiac disorders) , methylergometrine (medicine for increasing muscle tone matachnata ) alkaloids of Belladonna or Nightshade plant ( leaf nightshade ) .
Pregnancy and lactation

Natrium bromatum is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation .

Driving and using machines

If you forget to use Natrium bromatum Sopharma

4 . POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Natrium bromatum Sopharma can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Prolonged treatment with Natrium bromatum Sopharma may experience the following side effects: nausea , vomiting, diarrhea , stomatitis ( inflammation of the mouth ) , rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal mucosa) , bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchi ) , lethargy , apathy disorder gait , impaired vision and hearing , dilatation of the pupils and eye irritation , memory impairment , drowsiness , other draznitelnost . reduce skin sensitivity , acne ( acne bromine ) .
In very rare cases, individual patients may experience hallucinations, manic disorders , allergic skin reactions such as toxic epidermal necrolysis, zabavene cardiac .

5 . HOW TO STORE NATRIUM BROMATUM SOPHARMA
Keep the medicine in the original container , protected from light place , at temperatures below 25 ° C.
Do not freeze !
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use Natrium bromatum Sopharma after the expiry date stated on the label and carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not use Natrium bromatum Sopharma if you notice discoloration of the solution.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste.
Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required .

Route of administration and dosage:
Administered intravenously , a single dose of 500-1000 mg ( 1-2 ampoules ) .
The application of high doses, which achieve bromine plasma levels above 12 mmol / l can cause acute toxicity, etc. bromizam . Plasma concentrations greater than 40 mmol / l can be fatal .
Symptoms: nausea , vomiting, diarrhea , speech disturbances , memory impairment , fatigue , drowsiness, irritability , tremors , hallucinations , mania , delirium , psychosis, stupor, coma.
Treatment is symptomatic . Insert a 10% NaCl solution infusion . Can be applied glucose and furosemide . Bromides can be removed by hemodialysis .
