NAZONEKS WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED
Nazoneks Nasal Spray contains mometasone furoate and belongs to the group of medicines called corticosteroids. Mometasone furoate should not be confused with "anabolic" steroids that some athletes abuse in the form of tablets or injections. Nasal application of mometasone furoate in small doses helps relieve inflammation, itching and sneezing, and stuffy or runny nose .
Nazoneks nasal spray is intended for adults and children over 6 years to treat the symptoms of hay fever (also known as seasonal allergic rhinitis) and perennial rinit.Pri adults over 18 years Nazoneks used for the treatment of nasal polyps.
Hay fever, which occurs during certain periods of the year, is an allergic reaction caused by inhalation of pollen from trees, grasses, weeds, and fungi and spores. Perennial rhinitis can occur at any time of year, but symptoms may be due to sensitivity to various things, including dust mites, animal hair, feathers and certain foods. These allergies cause runny nose, sneezing and swelling of the nasal mucosa, leading to a feeling of 'stuffy' nose. BEFORE YOU USE NAZONEKS
Do not use Nazoneks
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to mometasone furoate or any of the other ingredients of Nazoneks.
if you have an infection in your nose.
if you have recently had surgery on your nose or you hurt him. You must wait until the wound / surgery healed before using Nazoneks.

if you have herpes simplex (virus) infection of the eye
If you have another type of infection

Taking other medicines
If you are taking other medicines for allergy group of steroids in oral form or by injection. Your doctor may advise you to stop taking them while using Nazoneks. HOW TO USE NAZONEKS
Always use Nazoneks exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you're not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Do not apply Nazoneks in larger doses or use more often or for longer than your doctor has told you.
Hayfever and perennial rhinitis
Adults and children over the age of 12
In hay fever and perennial rhinitis usual dose is two sprays in each nostril once daily in adults (including the elderly) and children over the age of 12. How to use the nasal spray
Shake well and remove cap
Gently blow your nose.
Close one nostril and put the nozzle in the other. Tilt your head slightly forward while holding the bottle upright.
Start slowly inhale through your nose as you inhale spray and spray your nose with your fingers by pressing down once.
Exhale through your mouth. Repeat step 4 for the second spray in the same nostril.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Nazoneks can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
For most people there are problems after using the nasal spray. However, some people may be headaches, sneezing, nosebleed, or sore nose or throat after administration of Nazoneks or other corticosteroid sprays.
If any of these side effects gets serious, or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Rarely, after taking this medicine, may show effects of immediate hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions. Rarely, these reactions may be severe. If you experience wheezing or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
When used in high doses for prolonged periods of time, corticosteroid nasal sprays can cause some side effects such as slowing the rate of growth in children.
