Monural is contraindicated in individual hypersensitivity to fosfomycin or any of the excipients.
It is also contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency (Ssg <10 ml / min).
The food may slow the absorption of the drug, causing a slight decrease in peak levels in blood and urine. Therefore Monural should be taken on an empty stomach (2-3 hours after a meal), preferably at bedtime, immediately after emptying the bladder.
Interaction with other drugs
Concomitant use of metoclopramide reduces concentrations in serum and urine and should be avoided.

Clinical experience of use in pregnant women is limited. Fosfomycin is excreted in human milk.

Dosage and method of administration
