MEDOKLAV WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR?
Medoklav is an antibiotic and works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It contains two different medicines known as amiksitsilin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin belongs to a group of medicines as "pinitsilini", but it can sometimes be prevented his act. The other active component prevents this from happening.
Medoklav is used in adults and children for the treatment of the following infections:
- Infections of the middle ear and sinuses
- Respiratory Infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Infections of skin and soft tissue infections including dental
- Infections of bones and joints.
BEFORE YOU TAKE MEDOKLAV
Do not take Medoklav
If you are allergic to amoxicillin, Clavulanic acid, penicillin antibiotics or any of the other ingredients of Medoklav
If you have ever had a severe allergic reaction to any other antibiotic. This ad may include a skin rash or swelling of the face or neck.
If you have had any liver problems or jaundice while taking antibiotics
Take special care with Medoklav:
If you have glandular fever
Receive treatment for liver or kidney problems;
Not urinate regularly
Conditions which need to be taken:
Medoklav can make some underlying conditions or lead to serious side effects. These include allergic reactions, seizures, and inflammation of the colon. To reduce the risk of any problems while taking Medoklav be careful if certain symptoms appear.
Pregnancy and lactation

DRIVE AND USE MACHINES
Medoklav can have side effects and symptoms may cause discomfort when driving. Do not drive or operate machinery until you feel better.
HOW TO TAKE MEDOKLAV
Adults and children weighing 40 kg or more:
The usual dose is one tablet twice daily.
Higher dose - one tablet three times a day
Children 6 years and younger should preferably be treated with Medoklav powder for oral suspension or sachets.
Patients with kidney or liver problems:
If you have kidney problems, the dose can be changed.
If you have liver problems, you may make more frequent blood tests to check how your liver is working.
HOW TO TAKE MEDOKLAV
Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water at the beginning of a meal or slightly before.
Let the intervals between doses during the day at least 4 hours between them. Do not take 2 doses within one hour.
Medoklav Do not take for more than 2 weeks. It is only necessary to consult a doctor if you still do not feel well.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Inflammation of the blood vessels, which can be seen as red or purple raised areas on the skin, but can affect other parts of the body;
Fever, joint pain, swollen glands in the neck, axilla or groin;
Swelling sometimes covering the face or mouth, leading to difficulty breathing;
Inflammatory bowel disease:
Inflammation of the large intestine, causing watery diarrhea, usually with blood and mucus, stomach pain and / or fever.
Very common side effects - diarrhea
Common - thrush, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea / with children /
Uncommon - skin rash, itchy, bumpy rash with itching, indigestion, dizziness, headache
Rare - a low number of cells responsible for blood clotting, low white blood cells.
The active ingredients are 875 mg amoxicillin as amoxicillin trihydrate and 125 mg clavulanic acid as clavulanate potassium.
The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, ???????????????????????????, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol 6000, talc and titanium dioxide
