WHAT LAROXIN SR AND WHAT IT IS USED
Laroxin SR is an antidepressant that belongs to the group of drugs known as inhibitors of the reuptake of serotonin and noradrenaline . This group of drugs used for the treatment of depression and other conditions, such as anxiety disorders. It is believed that people who are depressed and / or anxious have lower levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain. Is not fully understood how antidepressants work , but they can help by increasing the levels of serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain.
Laroxin SR is a treatment for adults with depression. Laroksin SR is also a treatment for adults with the following anxiety disorders : generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder (fear and avoidance of social situations ) and panic disorder ( panic attacks ) .
