What is in your medicine?
The active ingredient in the tablets is LAPRILEN enalapril as maleat. LAPRILEN 5 contains the following inactive ingredients: corn starch , lactose , maleic acid , distilled water , hypromellose ( hydroxypropyl methylcellulose , HPMC 5cps), isopropyl alcohol , dichloromethane , zinc stearate . LAPRILEN available as tablets 5 mg.
The tablets are packaged in blister packs of 10 tablets , along with the patient information leaflet in a carton containing 3 blister cards of 10 tablets or a double layer of tape AI / AI (strip pack) 3 10 tablets.
How does your medicine ?
The active substance in enalapril maleate is LAPRILEN . It belongs to a group of medicines called " ACE inhibitors" ( angiotensin converting enzyme) . These medicines work by widening blood vessels and thus facilitate the pumping of blood from the heart to all parts of your body.
This reduces the high blood pressure . In many patients with heart failure LAPRILEN will help improve heart function.

How to take your medicine ?
