1. WHAT LAMISIL DERMGEL AND WHAT IT IS USED
LAMISIL DERMGEL is a gel that is applied to the skin.
LAMISIL DERMGEL is antifungal that kills fungi that cause skin infections. LAMISIL DERMGEL is intended for the treatment of athlete's foot (tinea pedis), in the groin (tinea cruris), body - ringworm (tinea corporis).
LAMISIL DERMGEL is also used to treat yeast infections as colorful lichen (pityriasis versicolor).
How to understand that you have some of these problems
Athlete's foot usually affects both legs, but not always. Most often appear between the toes. Can be and the curve of the foot, lower or other part of the feet. The most common type of athlete's foot causes cracking or peeling of the skin are possible slight swelling, blisters or sores. LAMISIL DERMGEL is intended for fungus between your toes.
However, if you have a fungal nail infection (fungus or under the nail), discoloration and deformation (thickening, friability) should contact a doctor, because this type of fungal infection is not treated with LAMISIL DERMGEL. LAMISIL tablets are a prescription for nail fungus.
Fungus in inguinal areas appear inner thighs - the area of the groin, usually on both sides, often one side is more affected than the other. May spread farther to the rear or upstream of the stomach. Is represented also in areas of the body where the skin is folded (folds), especially if they are moist - folds under the breasts or armpits or other similar areas. The rash is clearly demarcated and there may be blisters. Feels itching.
Fungus in the body (tinea) can occur anywhere, but are most often found on the head, neck, face or hands. Usually appear as a red rash in the shape of a circle may occur flaking and itching.
Colorful lichen (pityriasis versicolor) was observed in the skin sections with scaling, which turn into white patches due to loss of skin pigment. Spots stand out mainly in the summer due to normal darkening of the skin around them. They appear mainly on the torso, neck and hands and can be resumed for months, especially with the warm weather and sweating.

2. BEFORE YOU USE LAMISIL DERMGEL
Do not use LAMISIL DERMGEL:
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the ingredients of LAMISIL DERMGEL (see pt. 6 of this leaflet).
Inform your doctor or pharmacist because LAMISIL DERMGEL is not suitable for you in these circumstances.
Take special care with LAMISIL DERMGEL
LAMISIL DERMGEL should only be used externally. Avoid any contact with the face, eyes or damaged areas of the skin that alcohol can irritate. If accidental eye carefully rinse with cold water. Consult your doctor if discomfort continues.
Using other medicines
Before using LAMISIL DERMGEL tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medicines - with or without a prescription, you are taking or have recently taken. Do not use other medicines on the treated area.
Pregnancy and lactation
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using LAMISIL DERMGEL if you are pregnant.
Terbinafine - the active ingredient of LAMISIL DERMGEL pass into breast milk and therefore should not be used during breastfeeding. We should not allow the baby to have contact with the treated areas of the skin, including the breast.
Use in children
LAMISIL DERMGEL should not be used in children.
3. HOW TO USE LAMISIL DERMGEL
It is important to consume LAMISIL DERMGEL properly. Carefully follow the instructions.
Apply LAMISIL DERMGEL affected areas 1 time a day 1 week. Use LAMISIL DERMGEL recommended for a week even notice relief earlier. Usually improvement of symptoms is observed within a few days, but the infection can recur if the gel is not used regularly or application is terminated too early.
Clean and dry the infected and the skin around it, and then wash your hands;

If you treat the infection in areas where the skin is folded, you can put gauze dressing, especially at night. In this case use a new, clean lint every time you apply the gel. When using LAMISIL DERMGEL skin condition improved after several days. However, recovery of the affected skin once the infection has been eliminated, is obtained for a longer period - up to 4 weeks. LAMISIL DERMGEL will continue to operate after you have conducted a week-long course of treatment. Although then you will not use the gel, the improvement should continue.
If you do not notice an improvement in symptoms within two weeks of starting treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
How to support the treatment
Keep clean the affected area, such as wash it regularly. Dry gently without rubbing, as asked gently. Try not to scratch the affected area, although it may itch, you do not cause further complication and delay the healing process or spread infection.
Because these infections can be transmitted to others, use individual cloth and clothes, wash them often to prevent reinfection.
If you accidentally swallowed LAMISIL DERMGEL
If accidentally swallowed LAMISIL DERMGEL, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you forget to use LAMISIL DERMGEL
If you forget to apply the gel, use it as soon as you remember and then continue as usual. Try to use the gel as directed. It is important not to miss applications to reduce the risk of reversion of the infection.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Most people tolerate LAMISIL DERMGEL. Like all medicines LAMISIL DERMGEL can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. It is therefore important to consider the following:
After use can be redness, itching or a slight burning. It is innocuous, weak side effects, possible in the application of the gel.
In very rare cases, some people are allergic to LAMISIL DERMGEL, which can cause swelling and pain, rashes or hives. If you notice any of these symptoms, stop using LAMISIL DERMGEL and immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if any of these effects worsen or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet.
5. HOW TO STORE LAMISIL DERMGEL
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Do not store above 30 ° C.
Store in the original package.
Do not use LAMISIL DERMGEL after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Active substance: In 1 g of LAMISIL DERMGEL contains 10 mg of the active substance terbinafine.
Excipients: purified water, ethanol 96%, isopropyl myristate, polysorbate 20, carbomer, sorbitan monolaurate, benzyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, butylhydroxytoluene.
