Iodide 200 mg is used to:
- Prevention of Iodine Deficiency goiter, especially during pregnancy and lactation;
- Prevention of recurrence of goiter after discontinuation of therapy with thyroid hormones (thyroid hormones) or after surgery goiter due to iodine deficiency;
- Treatment of goitre, dalzhashta.se of iodine deficiency in infants, children and adolescents.
When you should not take 200 mg Jodid?
Jodid 200 does not have to be taken:
- Manifest in overactive thyroid gland;
- In latent overactivity of the thyroid gland at a daily dose above 160 mg iodine;
- In the presence of benign hormone-active tumor or in the case of sections of thyroid hormone production with uncontrolled;
- With hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

What precautions should be taken?
Before starting treatment with iodide, should be clarified whether the patient has a current or past diagnosis of hyperthyroidism or nodular goiter, since in these cases at daily doses of 150 mg and more may cause overactive thyroid.
The use of iodide can complicate the radiological treatment with iodine in overactive thyroid, benign tumors of hormone production or thyroid cancer. Iodine must not be applied in case of suspected cancer of the thyroid gland.

What has to be observed during pregnancy and lactation?

How and when to take Jodid 200 mg?
The daily dose should be taken after food, more water (eg. 1/2 cup water).
Use in infants and children:
