JOVESTO 5 mg. 10 tablets
Yovesto is an antiallergic drug that does not cause drowsiness. It helps control your allergic reaction and its symptoms.
Yovesto relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by allergies such as hay fever or allergy to dust mites). These symptoms include sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate, and itchy, red or watery eyes.
Yovesto be used to relieve symptoms of urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy). These symptoms include itching and hives.
Relief of these symptoms lasts throughout the day and helps you to resume your normal daily activities and sleep.
Yovesto is intended for use by adults and adolescents (over 12 years).
2. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE JOVESTO
Do not take Jovesto:
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to desloratadine, or any of the other ingredients of Jovesto or to loratadine.
Warnings and Precautions
if your kidney function is impaired.
If this applies to you, or you are unsure, please consult your doctor before taking Jovesto.
Other medicines and
There are no known interactions between JOVESTO and other drugs.
JOVESTO with food and drink
JOVESTO can be taken with or without food.
Pregnancy and lactation
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding is not recommended to take Yovesto.
Driving and using machines
In children, the recommended dose is not expected to cause Yovesto drowsy or attention. However, very rarely, some people feel drowsy, which may affect their ability to drive and use machines.
3. HOW TO TAKE JOVESTO
Always take Jovesto exactly as your doctor tells you. If you're not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist
The usual dose is:
Adults and adolescents (over 12 years): take one tablet daily.
Take the tablet with or without food.
Regarding the duration of treatment - your physician will determine the type of allergic rhinitis you are suffering, and depending on will determine how long you should take Yovesto.
If you suffer from intermittent allergic rhinitis (presence of symptoms for less than 4 days per week or for less than 4 weeks), your doctor will recommend a regimen consistent with the data on the course of your disease;
If you suffer from persistent allergic rhinitis (presence of symptoms for 4 or more days per week and for more than 4 weeks). Your doctor may recommend a longer treatment;
Between patients with urticaria may need different treatment duration and therefore should follow the instructions of your doctor.
If you take more dose Yovesto
Take Yovesto only as prescribed. Accidental overdose are not expected serious problems. However, if you take a higher dose than the prescribed Yovesto, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
If you forget to take Jovesto
If you forget to take your dose on time, take it as soon as possible, then go back to your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up the missed dose.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
In adults in clinical trials, adverse reactions are almost the same as with a dummy tablet. However, adverse events reported more frequently than with placebo were fatigue, dry mouth and headache;
In adolescents most frequently reported adverse reaction was headache.
During the period after obtaining authorization of the Yovesto following adverse reactions have been reported very rarely (may affect less than 1 in 10,000):
Serious allergic reactions (difficulty in breathing, wheezing, itching, hives and swelling). Stop taking the drug and seek medical advice immediately if you experience any of these symptoms;
Palpitations, rapid heartbeat;
Stomach pain, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting, upset stomach, diarrhea;
Dizziness, somnolence, insomnia;
Muscle pain, hallucinations, seizures, restlessness with increased body movement;
Liver inflammation and abnormal liver function tests.
If you get any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist. This includes all listed in this leaflet.
5. HOW TO STORE YOVESTO
Keep out of reach of children.
Jovesto not use after the expiry date stated on the carton after "EXP". The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
Do not use this medicine if you notice any change in the appearance of the tablets.
Do not dispose of medications in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help to protect the environment.
6. CONTENTS OF THE PACK AND OTHER INFORMATION
The active substance is desloratadine. Each tablet contains 5 mg desloratadine.
Other ingredients are:
Tablet core: maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, silica, colloidal anhydrous, hydrogenated vegetable oil (type 1).
Tablet coating: Opadry Blue 03V50689 (Hypromellose E464, titanium dioxide E171, macrogol 400 E1521, indigo carmine aluminum lake E132).
Jovesto looks like and contents of the pack
Jovesto is light blue, round, biconvex film-coated tablet, engraved with "5" on one side. Diameter 6,50 ± 0,10 mm.
Jovesto is available in blister packs of OPA / ALU / PVC / ALU and blister packs of PVC / Aclar / ALU.
Pack sizes: 10, 30, 50, 60 and 90 tablets.
Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
