What is Feroger and what it is used for

Feroger contains the active ingredients ferrofumarate, folic acid and ascorbic acid.

Ferofumarate is a form of iron, and folic acid belongs to B vitamins. Both iron and folate are needed for the body to build red blood cells. If the body does not receive enough of these substances, anemia (reduced red blood cell counts) may develop.

Feroger is used to treat conditions of iron deficiency with a proven folic acid deficiency, especially during the first month before conception (or when pregnancy is planned) and then to the third month of pregnancy.

2. What you need to know before taking Ferroe

Do not take Feroger:

if you are allergic to ferofumarate, folic acid, ascorbic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
if there is too much iron in your body (hemochromatosis, haemosiderosis);

if you have anemia that is not due to iron or folic acid deficiency;
