1. WHAT FORCID SOLUTAB AND WHAT IT IS USED
Forsid Solutab used to treat infections of the lower and upper respiratory tract, the kidneys, lower urinary tract and skin caused by bacteria susceptible to the effects of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Forsid Solutab contains amoxicillin, an antibiotic of the penicillin group, which can be disposed of bacteria (sensitive to this antibiotic). The dispersible tablet also contains clavulanic acid, which enhances the action of amoxicillin to make the bacteria susceptible to its action.

Symptoms (eg temperature) usually disappear within the next few days, but it is essential that the entire prescribed course to be completed.

Talk to your doctor if you feel better in the next few days.


2. BEFORE YOU USE FORCID SOLUTAB

Do not use Forcid Solutab

If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid or to any of the excipients Forcid Solutab.
If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to amoxicillin, other penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics.
If you have previously suffered from jaundice or other liver disorder after using the combination amoxicillin / clavulanic acid.
If you suffer from lymphatic leukemia (characterized by an increase in white blood cells in the blood and swelling of the lymph nodes).
If you suffer from infectious mononucleosis (glandular fever).


Take special care with Forcid Solutab

If you suffer from severe and persistent diarrhea or gastrointestinal disorders accompanied by vomiting.
If you suffer from liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking Forsid Solutab. Hepatic function should probably be checked.
If you suffer from kidney disease. Consult your doctor before taking Forsid Solutab. The dose may have to be changed.
If you are taking anticoagulant medications. Your doctor may order regular monitoring of blood counts.
If you suffer from severe allergies or asthma. Forsid Solutab should be taken with caution due to the greater likelihood of allergic reactions.
If you suffer from chronic diseases or diseases of the immune system, because it can show other infections or superinfection.
If during treatment have convulsions. Contact your doctor. Treatment should be discontinued.
Red spots on the skin, fever or pain in the tongue are signs of an allergic reaction to Forsid Solutab. Acceptance or use of other medicinal products
Always tell your doctor about other medicines you are taking or have recently taken, including medicines without a prescription. Combinations of different drugs can be harmful to you.

Combining Forcid Solutab with:

certain chemotherapeutics or antibiotics (such as tetracyclines, macrolides, sulfonamides and chloramphenicol) should not be applied.
disulfiram (a medicine to treat alcoholism) should not apply.
probenecid (a medicine for the treatment of gout), phenylbutazone, oxyphenbutazone (medicines for the treatment of arthritis) is not recommended.
allopurinol (medicine for gout) can increase the incidence of rash.
sulfasalazine (a medicine to treat intestinal inflammation and rheumatism) may require your doctor to change the dose of sulfasalazine.
methotrexate (a drug for the treatment of blood cancers, rheumatism or psoriasis) is not advisable.
digoxin (a medicine for heart disorders) may require the doctor to change the dose of digoxin.
oral contraceptives ("the Pill") can reduce the reliability of their effects. You can also get extra bleeding. It is therefore recommended during treatment with Forsid Solutab 1-2 weeks and then use other means of birth control (eg. A condom).
blood-thinning drugs (anticoagulants). Your doctor may order regular blood tests.
Forcid Solutab may affect the results of diagnostic tests. In non-enzymatic methods for determining urinary sugar can yield false positive results. Similarly affected and urobilinogen test.

Taking with other foods and drinks

Pregnancy and lactation

Use during the first 3 months of pregnancy:
Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid reach the embryo / fetus through the placenta. Their use should be avoided unless your doctor determines that the benefit is greater than the potential risk to the embryo / fetus.
Use during the last 6 months of pregnancy:
Forsid Solutab can be used on medical advice.

Lactation
Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid pass into breast milk and may cause side effects in the newborn, for example. diarrhea. Breast-feeding should be discontinued while taking Forsid Solutab.


Driving and using machines
Only in very rare cases Forsid Solutab can cause side effects (such as confusion or dizziness), which may affect the ability to drive and use machines.


Special warnings
Forcid Solutab contains the following amounts of potassium in one tablet:
Forcid Solutab 500/125 mg: 24,53 mg

Amount of potassium more than 34 mg per day must be borne in mind in patients with reduced renal function and patients on a controlled potassium diet.


3. DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Forcid Solutab dispersible tablets can be taken in two ways:
1. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water
2. Put the tablet in half a glass of water, stir well until its dissolution and the resulting drink sweetened slightly with a slight fruity odor suspension.

To reduce the occurrence of gastrointestinal disorders, it is recommended to take Forcid Solutab early nutrition.
Dosage:
The dose is determined by your doctor. If you are unsure, ask again your doctor or pharmacist.

Customary dosages are:
For adults and children over 12 years 3x1 tablet daily.
Daily dosage in children 2 to 12 years old is 20-30 mg / kg amoxicillin and 5-7.5 mg / kg of clavulanic complex.
In severe cases, your doctor may decide to prescribe a non-standard dosage. The average duration of treatment is 7-10 days.

It is important not to stop treatment prematurely.

4. OVERDOSE
If you take Forcid Solutab more than prescribed

5. RELEASE OF ADMISSION

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Forcid Solutab can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Forsid Solutab may cause the following side peaktsii:

Dizziness, headache, seizures.

Inflammation of blood vessels.
Local accumulation of fluid under the skin and mucous membranes (eg. Throat or tongue), breathing difficulties and / or itching and skin rash.
Severe skin reactions or skin rash with red, irregularly shaped spots.
Severe allergic reactions or shock (fall in blood pressure accompanied by paleness and limitation of consciousness). Immediately call your doctor.
Anemia (reduction in the number of red blood cells).
Liver inflammation and jaundice (yellowing expressed in the skin and whites of the eyes and darkening of the urine). Stop taking Forsid Solutab and contact your doctor, even if these symptoms occur weeks after treatment.
Inflammation of the kidney accompanied by blood in the urine, and pain

Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 patients)
Hyperactivity, anxiety, insomnia, confusion, aggression.

5. HOW TO STORE FORCID SOLUTAB
Keep out of reach of children.
