WHAT THIS MEDICINE IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR ?
ENPRIL tablet contains active substance of Enalapril maleate 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg and inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch , colloidal silicon dioxide, talc , magnesium stearate, gelatine .
ENPRIL is available as : tablets of 5 mg in packs of 20 or 60 tablets
10 mg tablets in packs of 20, 28, 50 or 60 tablets of 20 mg in packs of 20 or 50 tablets
ENPRIL a composition from the group consisting of angiotensin converting enzyme ( ACE ) inhibitors .
It is used to treat:
• all grades of hypertension (high blood pressure ) - primary, secondary and including kidney ;
• All levels of overt heart failure ( weakening of the heart function ! " ; Many patients with heart failure who have developed symptoms , ENPRIL slows the progression of heart failure , decreasing the need for hospitalization for heart failure and helps to extend the life them .

2 . BEFORE YOU TAKE ENPRIL
Do not take this medicine if:
- Are allergic (hypersensitive ) to the active substance or to any of the ingredients ;
- When previous treatment with ACE inhibitors have an allergic reaction such as swelling of the face , lips, tongue and / or throat with difficulty breathing and swallowing, or have had these reactions no apparent reason.
- Pregnant the second and third trimester.
Take special care with ENPRIL
Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions you have, and if you have ever had an allergic reaction with rash, swelling of face, lips, tongue and / or throat with difficulty breathing and swallowing.

Basically ENPRIL can be taken with other medicines . Reception with food and drink
ENPRIL can be taken before, during and after meals. Alcohol may enhance the blood pressure lowering effect of ENPRIL
Pregnancy and lactation
If you are pregnant , consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Not recommended to use ENPRIL during pregnancy . When pregnancy ENPRIL must be stopped as quickly as possible , unless the physician determines that it is vital for the pregnant woman. Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE ) inhibitors can harm or even cause death to the fetus if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
ENPRIL is excreted in very small quantities in human milk. If you take ENPRIL and breast-feeding or planning to breast feed , you should consult a doctor.
Driving and using machines
Some of the side effects that may occur while taking ENPRIL ( dizziness or malaise ) can affect driving or operating machinery it must be borne in mind .
3 . HOW TO TAKE ENPRIL?

If you take more dose ENPRIL

If you forget to take ENPRIL
You should take ENPRIL as prescribed . If you miss a dose do not take extra tablets , and carry on as usual.
If you stop taking ENPRIL

4 . POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
ENPRIL usually well tolerated and does not lead to the occurrence of side effects in most patients. In any occurrence , they are usually mild and transient and did not require discontinuation of the drug.
The initial dose may cause a decrease in blood pressure accompanied by dizziness or nausea, and occupation of lying can help . If necessary, consult your doctor.
