Depreksor belongs to a group of drugs called antidepressants. They are used to treat depression.
Depreksor used to relieve symptoms of depression, including depression associated with anxiety, to prevent recurrence or onset of new depressive episodes.


Do not take Depreksor in the following cases:
  If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient venlafaxine or any of the excipients of the product;
  If you are taking or have recently (last two weeks) have been treated with other medicines to treat depression (MAOIs);
 Acute liver or kidney disease;
  If you are pregnant or breast-feeding;
 If you are under the age of 18 years.
Tell your doctor if:
 Have had a mental illness in the past (mania);
  You have experienced depression in the past;
  Have recently had a heart attack, have severe heart failure or other cardiac disease, accompanied by rapid pulse;
  Have hypertension;
 You suffer from epilepsy or have had seizures in the past;
  You have a serious kidney or liver disease;
Have glaucoma (increased eye pressure);
  Have or have had bleeding in the skin and / or mucous membranes. 
Thoughts of suicide and worsening of your depression or anxiety disorder

Pregnancy and lactation

The usual recommended dose for all indications is 75 mg daily in 2 divided doses (at 37,5 mg two times daily). If you have serious liver or kidney disease, your doctor may recommend a reduction in the daily dose by 50%. If you take more tablets than necessary Depreksor: You may experience drowsiness, dizziness, headache, palpitations, difficulty and uncoordinated movements, convulsions. You should seek immediate medical attention!
If you forget to take Depreksor: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If almost happened next dose, take it as usual. Do not take a double dose to make up. Depreksor can cause bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, increased levels of the hormone prolak-tin in the blood, urine retention, very rare inflammation of the pancreas.
