Klarinaze tablets contain a combination of two active ingredients: an antihistamine ( loratadine ) and a decongestant ( pseudoephedrine ) . Antihistamines relieve the symptoms of colds and allergies by blocking the action of a substance called histamine , which is produced by the body . Decongestants help to unblock the nose.
Klarinaze tablets relieve symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis ( hay fever ) such as sneezing, itchy or runny nose, itchy and watery eyes , accompanied by nasal congestion .

Do not take tablets Klarinaze
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to loratadine , pseudoephedrine or any of the other ingredients of Klarinaze tablets.
Because of pseudoephedrine tablets do not take Klarinaze
if you are taking medicines for heart disease or high blood pressure;
if you have glaucoma, difficulty in urinating , urinary tract blockage , high blood pressure , diseases of the cardiovascular system , a history of stroke or have an overactive thyroid ;
if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAO) or have stopped taking one in the last 14 days.
Take special care with Klarinaze
Certain conditions may make you particularly sensitive to the decongestant psevdoefedrin contained in this medicine .

Before you start taking Klarinaze tablets , tell your doctor or pharmacist :
if you are 60 and older. Older patients may exhibit increased sensitivity to this product ;
if you have diabetes mellitus (diabetes ) , stenosing peptic ulcer ( ulcer that causes narrowing of the stomach, small intestine or esophagus ) , pyloroduodenal obstruction ( blockage ) , obstruction of the bladder neck , a history of bronchospasm ( difficulty breathing due by contraction of the muscles of the lungs) , or liver problems , kidney or bladder ;
if you are surgery , as you may need to stop using Klarinaze for several days ;
if you are taking digitalis ( a drug used to treat certain heart disorders) , as may be necessary to change the dose regimen ;
if you are taking ?- methyldopa, mecamylamine , reserpine , veratrum alkaloids or guanethidine for treatment of high blood pressure , as you may need a change in dosing regimen ;
if taking decongestants (oral or nasal ) or an appetite-suppressing products of amphetamine , as in combination with Klarinaze these drugs can cause an increase in blood pressure ;
if taking ergot alkaloids ( e.g. nato dihydroergotamine, ergotamine or methylergometrine ) to treat migraine , as in combination with Klarinaze these drugs can cause an increase in blood pressure ;
if you are taking linezolid (an antibiotic) , bromocriptine (for infertility or Parkinson's disease ) , cabergoline, lisuride or pergolide ( for Parkinson's disease ) . In combination with Klarinaze these drugs can cause high blood pressure;
if you are taking antacids , since they may potentiate the effect of Klarinaze ;
if you are taking kaolin, as it may reduce the effect of Klarinaze .
Tell your doctor if you have or you have been diagnosed with any of the following conditions :
high blood pressure ;
fast or irregular heartbeat ;
irregular heartbeat ;
if you feel sick and headache or increase headache when taking Klarinaze . Your doctor may advise you to discontinue treatment .
One of the medicines in Klarinaze , pseudoephedrine sulphate, has the potential to be abused , and large doses of pseudoephedrine sulfate can be toxic .

Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Taking Klarinaze with food and drink
Klarinaze tablets may be taken with or without food.
No data Klarinaze tablets to enhance the effects of alcohol.

Use in children
Klarinaze should not be taken by children under 12 years of age.

If you are pregnant , you should not use Klarinaze .
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine during pregnancy .

Loratadine and pseudoephedrine are excreted in human milk. With pseudoephedrine , a component of Klarinaze , there are reports of reduced milk production in nursing mothers .

Driving and using machines
At the recommended dose is not expected Klarinaze cause drowsiness or impaired attention . However, very rarely some patients reported drowsiness, which may affect the ability to drive and use machines.

Important information about some of the ingredients of Klarinaze
Klarinaze tablets contain lactose and sucrose; Therefore, if your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, inform your physician before taking this medicine.

Laboratory tests :
If you are having skin tests , you must stop using Klarinaze two days before the test , as this medicine may affect the results.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: One tablet Klarinaze twice daily with a glass of water , regardless of food intake. Swallow the tablet whole ; do not crush , crush or chew before you swallow .

If you take more dose Klarinaze

If you forget to take Klarinaze

Like all medicines, Klarinaze can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them . Tell your doctor or pharmacist if any of the following side effects do not go away, if you are worried or think you have a serious nature.
Common side effects associated with Klarinaze 5 mg / 120 mg tablets include: thirst , nervousness , somnolence , depression , agitation , anorexia, difficulty sleeping , dizziness, dry mouth , palpitations, sore throat , inflammation of the area around the nose , constipation , nausea, headache or fatigue.
Side effects that occur less frequently include : confusion , tremors, increased sweating , flushing , changes in taste , watery eyes , ringing in the ears, irregular heart rate, nosebleeds often changed or urination, itching .
After the introduction of Klarinaze has been reported very rare cases of severe allergic reactions including rash, hives, and swelling of the face, dizziness , seizures, irregular heartbeat , high blood pressure , cough, narrowing of the airways , liver problems , difficulties urination and hair loss.

Other side effects only for loratadine , which has been reported during clinical trials and during post- marketing period include increased appetite , rash and upset stomach .

If any of the side effects gets serious , or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet , please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not store above 25 ° C.

Do not freeze .
Klarinaze not use after the expiry date stated on the carton and blister. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not use Klarinaze if you notice a change in the appearance of the tablets.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required . These measures will help to protect the environment.

What does Klarinaze
The active substances are : 5 mg of loratadine and pseudoephedrine sulfate 120 mg;
The other ingredients are core - lactose , corn starch , povidone, magnesium stearate; sheath - acacia , calcium sulfate dihydrate , carnauba wax , microcrystalline cellulose , oleic acid , sucrose, talc , titanium dioxide, white wax , rosin soap powder of plant based zein .
