CAVINTON FORTE tablets
The active ingredient is 10 mg vinpocetine in each tablet.
The excipients are colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc, corn starch, lactose monohydrate.
Appearance: Cavinton Forte tablets: white or almost white, disc-shaped, flat, cut edges with "10 mg" on one side and scored on the other side. packing:
Cavinton Forte tablets: 30 or 90 tablets.
The tablets are packed in PVC // aluminum blisters in a cardboard folding box.
1 WHAT CAVINTON FORTE AND WHAT IT IS USED?
Cavinton Forte is a drug for the treatment of certain diseases associated with abnormal tsirkulapiyata of blood in the brain. Cavinton Forte also be used to reduce the mental and neurological symptoms in cerebral vascular disorders, in the treatment of certain ophthalmic and otological diseases that occur on the basis of vascular disorders or to reduce their symptoms.
2 BEFORE YOU TAKE CAVINTON FORTE
Do not take Cavinton Forte:
- If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to vinpocetine or any of the other ingredients of the medicine;
- In pregnancy or lactation;
- In childhood.
Cavinton Forte should be used based on individual medical judgment:
- In certain cardiac diseases.
This drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Driving and using machines:
No data is available for any effect of vinpocetine on ability to drive and use machines.
Important information about some of the ingredients:
Patients with lactose (milk sugar) intolerance should be borne in mind that each Cavinton Forte tablet (10 mg) contains 83 mg of lactose.
Taking other medicines:
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even those that are without a prescription.
You should tell your doctor if you are taking a medicine containing alpha methyl dopa (medicine to lower high blood pressure), drugs affecting the central nervous system, anticoagulants (drugs prevent the formation of blood clots), or antiarrhythmic (medicine for heart rhythm disturbances) .
3 HOW TO TAKE CAVINTON FORTE
Always take Cavinton Forte exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. If the doctor advises otherwise, the usual dose is 3 times 1 tablet Cavinton Forte. No dose adjustment is required in patients with renal and hepatic disease.
The tablets should be premium after a meal.
If you think that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you take more than you should Cavinton Forte:
Talk to your doctor or visit the emergency room of the nearest hospital.
If you forget to take Cavinton Forte:
Do not take a double dose because it can not replace the missed dose, but may occur overdose. Take your next dose at the usual time.
4 POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Cavinton Forte can have side effects.
Sometimes (2.6%) may occur redness, allergic skin reactions, arrhythmias (fast or irregular heart beat), lowering blood pressure, sleep disturbances, dizziness, headache, weakness, nausea, HEARTBURN, dry mouth. If we express these symptoms, consult your doctor.

5 HOW TO STORE CAVINTON FORTE
Keep out of reach of children.
Keep the blister in the outer carton to protect it from light.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
