In patients with impaired renal or hepatic function should be reduced or extended dosing intervals between doses .

3 . How to use bromhexine solution for injection ?
Always use bromhexine Sopharma solution for injection exactly as your doctor tells you . If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Bromhexine is administered by injection short in patients who are not able to accept the drug in the form of tablets or syrup , and as soon as switching to oral treatment .
Bromhexine injection may be administered intramuscularly, intravenously or slowly as an intravenous infusion.
The recommended dose is:
Method of administration : subcutaneous , intravenous, or by intravenous infusion.
Intramuscular : on I ampoule ( 4 mg) deep intramuscularly for 2-3 minutes 2-3 times a day.
Intravenous administration: in 1 ampoule ( 4 mg) slowly intravenously 2-3 minutes , 2-3 times daily .
The product may be applied as intravenous infusion , along with glucose, laevulose or Ringer's solution .
In patients with impaired renal or hepatic function should be reduced
dosing or increased intervals of application of the product.
Bromhexine injection should not be mixed with alkaline or acid solutions , because it can obtain turbidity.
Use in children and adolescents:
