Budenofalk WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR ?
Budenofalk a medicine from the group consisting of corticosteroids with local action and is useful in the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases , such as Alzheimer's Crohn.
For treatment of mild to moderate attacks disease Crohn / chronic inflammatory bowel disease / which affects the small and / or the initial part of the colon.
Note: Treatment with Budenofalk ineffective in patients with disease of Crohn, covering the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract !
Extraintestinal symptoms , e. effect on skin, eyes or joints are not affected by Budenofalk because local action.
BEFORE YOU TAKE Budenofalk
Budenofalk should not be used for:
- Hypersensitivity to budesonide or any other component of the product;
- Local infections of the intestines ;
- Liver cirrhosis with portal hypertension symptoms
Pregnancy and lactation :
Budenofalk can be used during pregnancy , especially during the first trimester , after careful assessment by the physician . If you are pregnant or breast-feeding should tell their doctor before starting treatment with Budenofalk. In women of childbearing age should be ruled out pregnancy before starting treatment with Budenofalk, if at the time of its adoption should take appropriate contraceptive . Since it is not known whether budesonide passes into breast milk should not breastfeed during treatment .
Dosage , route and duration of treatment
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor recommended one capsule three times daily.
The capsules can be taken 30 minutes before meals , swallowed whole with plenty of fluid.
Patients with difficulty swallowing can open the capsule and swallow the right gastro-resistant granules goals with plenty of fluids.
The treatment time is typically 8 weeks. The full effect is attained generally in 2 to 4 weeks.
Budenofalk should not be stopped suddenly but gradually reduced .
SIDE EFFECTS :
Rare side effects: swelling of lower limbs , Cushing's syndrome , increased intracranial pressure with papilloedema possible optic nerve in adolescence , diffuse muscle pain and weakness , osteoporosis .
May experience the following side effects :
allergic exanthema , redness and bleeding stretching of the skin, acne , delayed wound healing , contact dermatitis

bone loss and cartilage
increase in intraocular pressure , lens opacities
Nervous system and mental state :
depression, irritability , euphoria
Gastrointestinal tract :
heartburn , duodenal ulcer, inflammation of the pancreas
Cushing's syndrome : lunoobazno persons torso obesity , diabetes mellitus, impaired glucose tolerance , the retention of sodium in the formation of edema , increased excretion of potassium, anti lack activity or atrophy of the adrenal cortex , growth retardation in children , impaired secretion of sex hormones
Circulation and vascular system:
