Reported to enhance the effect of coumarin anticoagulants (eg, warfarin) when co-administered with glucosamine. Therefore, patients treated with coumarin anticoagulants should be monitored closely during the initiation and completion of treatment with glucosamine, glucosamine Concomitant use can increase the absorption and serum concentrations of tetracyclines, but the clinical significance of this interaction is probably limited, because insufficient data regarding potential interaction with glucosamine drugs should be considered a variation of the effect or concentration during concomitant use with other medicinal products.
