What is Bezaleria and what it is used
Bezaleria 5 mg tablets, containing the active substance levocetirizine, which is an antiallergic drug. Use for the treatment of symptoms associated with allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis (including perennial allergic rhinitis);
chronic hives (urticaria).
2 What you should know before taking Bezaleria
Do not take Bezaleria:
if you are allergic to levocetirizine, any of its related substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (see. section 6 "Contents of the pack and other information");
if you suffer from severe kidney disease (severe renal failure with creatinine clearance below 10 ml / min).
Warnings and Precautions
Bezaleria use is not recommended in children under 6 years as film-coated tablets do not allow dose adjustment.
Other medicines and Bezaleria
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take other medicines.
In sensitive patients receiving 5 mg of Bezaleria simultaneously depressants, central nervous system depressants (such as sedatives) may increase the effects on the central nervous system.
Bezaleria food, beverages and alcohol
Bezaleria can be taken with or without food.
Caution should be exercised when taking Bezaleria with alcohol. In sensitive patients the effect of alcohol to intensify.
Pregnancy and lactation
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you may be pregnant or planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Driving and using machines
Some patients taking Bezaleria may experience drowsiness, desire for sleep, fatigue and exhaustion. If you intend to drive, plug in potentially hazardous activities or operating machinery, it is recommended to wait and watch your response to this drug. However, my testing showed no violation of mental alertness, the possibility of a reaction or the ability to drive after taking Bezaleria at the recommended dose.
Bezaleria contains lactose
If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact him before taking this medicine.
3 How to take Bezaleria
Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you are not sure, ask your doctor.
The usual dose for adults and children over 6 years is one tablet daily.
Renal and liver
Please consult your doctor if you have kidney problems. You may also be given a lower dose, depending on the severity of your disease. Your doctor will give you information on dosage.
Patients who suffer only from hepatic dysfunction should take the usual prescribed dose. In patients who have both hepatic and renal dysfunction, may be prescribed a lower dose, depending on the severity of renal disease, and for children, the dose will be selected on the basis of weight; dose will be determined by your doctor.
Use in children
Bezaleria not recommended for children under 6 years of age, as film-coated tablets do not allow dose adjustment.
How and when to take Bezaleria?
You should swallow the tablet whole with water or other liquid.
The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and course of the complaints.
Your doctor or pharmacist will give you the relevant information.
If you take more than the amount of Bezaleria
If you take more than the amount of Bezaleria may feel drowsy. Children may initially have excitability and anxiety, and then - drowsiness. Immediately contact your doctor, who will determine what treatment possibly need.
If you forget to take Bezaleria
A large overdose can lead to sleepiness in the elderly. In children, it is possible to initially appear liveliness and restlessness, followed by a desire to sleep. If you think you have taken an overdose of Bezaleria, please tell your doctor, who will decide what action to take.
If you stop taking Bezaleria
If you stop treatment with Bezaleria earlier than planned, this should not cause side effects. It is possible, however the symptoms why take Bezaleria to occur again, but not more severe than the original before starting treatment with Bezaleria.

4 Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Common side effects (affects 1 in 10 people):
drowsiness / increased desire for sleep.
Uncommon side effects (affects 1 to 10 users in 1000):
Have been reported and other side effects such as:
Palpitations, seizures, visual disturbances, swelling, pruritus (itching), rash, urticaria (swelling, redness and itching of the skin), shortness of breath, weight gain, muscle pain, aggressive behavior or lively, hepatitis, variation in test results of liver liver and nausea.
At the first sign of an allergic reaction, stop taking Bezaleria and contact your doctor.
Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include swelling of the mouth, tongue, face and / or throat, or difficulty swallowing, accompanied by urticaria (angioedema), difficulty breathing or a decrease in blood pressure leading to collapse or shock, which may have fatal.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

If you get any side effects, tell your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes all listed in this leaflet. You may also report side effects directly through the national reporting system to BDA. As reported side effects, you can do your bit to get more information on the safety of this medicine.
5 How to store Bezaleria
Keep out of reach of children.
Bezaleria not use after the expiry date stated on the carton after "EXP". The first two digits indicate the month and the last four - year. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
6 Package Contents and more information
Active substance levocetirizine (levocetirizine). Levocetirizine present as levotsetirizinov dihydrochloride (5 mg), which corresponds to 4,2 mg levocetirizine.
Other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (core tablet) and hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171) and macrogol 400 (coated tablet).
Bezaleria looks like and contents of the pack
The film-coated tablets are white to off-white, oval, biconvex tablets marked "L9CZ" on one side and "5" on the other side.
They are packed in blisters of 7, 10, 14, 15, 20, 21, 28, 30, 40, 50, 56, 60, 70, 90, 100, 112 or 120 tablets in a box, blister unit doses containing 30 x 1 tablets.
Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
