BETABLOKADA WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED


Betablokada belongs to a class of drugs called beta-blockers.

It is used to treat:
  Increased blood pressure
  Pain in the heart or chest caused by lack of oxygen to the heart / angina /
  Irregular heartbeat / arrhythmia /
  Myocardial
  Palpitations due to functional cardiac disorders
 
Used to prevent:
  Reinfarction
  Migraine
  

BEFORE YOU TAKE BETABLOKADA


 

Betablokada not take if:
  Are allergic to metoprolol and other beta-blockers, as well as any of the other ingredients
 Do you have heart problems or irregular heartbeat
  Suffer from untreated heart disease or are being treated for increased heart beat or are in shock caused by heart problems.
  Problems with blood circulation
  Have low frequency rhythm
  Suffer from low blood pressure, blood
 
Take the following medicines:
  Monoamine oxidase infibitori / Depression /
  Verapamil and diltiazem
  Disopiramid
 
Take special care with Betablokada:
 
If you suffer from asthma
 If you have Prinzmetal angina / acute chest pain, occurring more frequently during the night /
  If you suffer from diabetes
  If you are receiving treatment to reduce the allergic reaction
 
If you have impaired kidney or liver function
  If you are under 40 or over 80 years old
  If you have had heart surgery in the last 4 months
 
Taking other medicines
 
Betablokada Do not take if you are taking

Other blood pressure lowering drugs, such as verapamil and diltiazem, as it can slow down your heart rate.
 
Antiarrhythmics such disopiramid

The following medicines may increase the effect of blood pressure:
  Cimetidine
  Hydralazine and clonidine 
Terbinafine
 Paroxetine, fluoxetine and sertraline
  Chlorpromazine and triflupromezin hlorprotiksen
  Amiodarone, quinidine and propafenone
  Celecoxib
 
The following medicines may affect or be affected by metoprolol are:
  Beta-blockers, such as nasal drops
  Adrenaline, noradrenaline or other simpatomititsi
  Medicines to treat diabetes
  Lidocaine
 Letserpin, alpha metoldopa, guanfacin
 
Pregnancy and lactation
 
Betablokada Do not take if you are pregnant unless your doctor prescribes it for you.
 
Before taking Betablokadi, tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding.
 
Driving and operating machinery
 
Before driving or operating machinery should know how you react to this medicine because it may cause dizziness or drowsiness.
 

HOW TO TAKE BETABLOKADA

 
Always Betablokada exactly as you told your doctor or pharmacist.
 
Betablokada tablets should not be chewed or crushed. they should be pograshtat fluid.
 
Usually recommended Betablokada tablets to be taken once daily with or without food.
 
Hypertension - The recommended daily dose is 50 mg. The dose may be increased to 100 to 200 mg once daily.
 
Angina pectoris - 100-200 mg once daily
Abnormal heart rhythm - 100-200 mg once daily
Maintenance treatment after myocardial infarction - 100-200 mg once daily.
Prophylaxis of migraine - Recommended dose is 100-200 mg daily.
 

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

 
Very common - dizziness, fatigue
 
Common - dizziness associated with changes in body position, slow heart rate, cold extremities, nausea, headache, diarrhea, vomiting, shortness of breath on exertion
 
Uncommon - temporary worsening of symptoms of your disease, fluid retention, chest pain, numbness, muscle spasms, vomiting, weight loss, depression, poor concentration, difficulty sleeping, drowsiness, nightmares, difficulty breathing, rash, increased sweating.
 
Rare - worsening of diabetes, nervousness, restlessness visible, dry or irritated eyes, conjunctivitis, impotence / sexual function disorders, irregular heartbeat, dry mouth, fever, hair loss, liver problems
 
Very rare - blood disorders, memory impairment, confusion, hallucinations, mood changes, ringing in the ears, taste changes, hepatitis, light sensitivity, worsening of psoriasis, muscle weakness, worsening of poor circulation

What Betablokada:
 
The active substance is metoprololov succinate. Each prolonged-release tablet contains:
 47.5 mg metoprololov succinate equivalent to 50 mg tartrate metoprololov
  95 mg metoprololov succinate equivalent to 100 mg metoprololov succinate equivalent to 100 mg tartrate metoprololov
  The other ingredients are:
 Core: microcrystalline cellulose, methyl cellulose, corn starch, glycerol, ethyl cellulose, and magnesium stearate.
Cover: Sepifilm LP 770: Hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, titanium dioxide.
