BETABLOKADA 100 mg. 30 tablets


Betablokada belongs to a class of drugs called beta-blockers.

It is used to treat:

- Increased blood pressure

- Pain in the heart or chest caused by lack of oxygen to the heart / angina /

- Irregular heartbeat / arrhythmia /

- Myocardial

- Palpitations due to functional cardiac disorders

Used to prevent:

- Reinfarction

- Migraine


Do not take Betablokada if:

- Are allergic to metoprolol or other beta-blockers, as well as any of the other ingredients

- Do you have heart problems or irregular heartbeat

- Suffer from untreated heart disease or are being treated for increased heart beat or you are in shock caused by heart problems.

- Do you have circulation problems

- Have low frequency rhythm

- You suffer from low blood pressure

Taking any of the following medicines:

- Monoamine oxidase inhibitors / depression /

- Verapamil and diltiazem

- Disopiramid

Take special care with Betablokada:

- If you suffer from asthma

- If you have Prinzmetal angina / acute chest pain, occurring more frequently in the night /

- If you suffer from diabetes

- If you are taking to reduce the allergic reaction

If you have impaired kidney or liver function

- If you are under 40 or over 80 years old

- If you have had heart surgery in the last 4 months

Taking other medicines

Do not take if you are taking Betablokada:

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors for depression

Other blood pressure lowering drugs such as verapamil and diltiazem, as it can slow down your heart rate.

- Antiarrhythmics as disopiramid

Please tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

The following medicines may increase the effect of blood pressure reduction:

= cimetidine

= Hydralazine and clonidine

= terbinafine

= Paroxetine, fluoxetine and sertraline

= Chlorpromazine, and triflupromezin chlorprothixene

= Amiodarone, quinidine and propafenone

= celecoxib

The following medicines may affect or be affected by metoprolol are:

- Other beta-blockers, such as nasal drops

- Adrenaline, noradrenaline or simpatomititsi

- Drugs to treat diabetes

- lidocaine

- Letserpin, alpha-metoldopa, guanfacine

Pregnancy and lactation

Betablokada not take if you are pregnant unless your doctor prescribes it for you.

Before taking Betablokadi tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding.

Driving and using machines

Before you drive or operate machinery need to know how you react to this medicine because it may cause dizziness or fatigue.


Always take Betablokada just as you told your doctor or pharmacist.

Betablokada tablets should not be chewed or crushed. they must be swallowed with liquid.

Usually recommended Betablokada tablets to be taken once daily with or without food.

Hypertension - The recommended daily dose is 50 mg. If necessary, the dose may be increased up to 100-200 mg daily.

Angina pectoris - 100-200 mg QD

Abnormal heart rhythm - 100-200 mg once daily

Maintenance treatment after myocardial infarction - 100-200 mg once-daily.

Prophylaxis of migraine - Recommended dose is 100-200 mg once daily.


Very common - dizziness, fatigue

Common - dizziness associated with changes in body position; slow heartbeat; cold extremities; nausea; headache; diarrhea; vomiting; exertional dyspnea

Uncommon - temporary worsening of the symptoms of your disease, fluid retention, chest pain, numbness, muscle spasms, vomiting, weight loss, depression, poor concentration, difficulty sleeping, drowsiness, nightmares, difficulty breathing, rash, increased sweating.

Rare - worsening of diabetes, nervousness, anxiety visibly dry or irritated eyes, conjunctivitis, impotence / sexual function disorders, irregular heartbeat, dry mouth, fever, hair loss, liver problems

Very rare - blood disorders, memory impairment, confusion, hallucinations, mood changes, ringing in the ears, taste changes, hepatitis, sensitivity to light, worsening of psoriasis, muscle weakness, worsening of poor circulation


Contents Betablokada:

The active substance is metoprolol succinate. Each prolonged release tablet comprising:

- 47.5 mg of metoprolol succinate equivalent to 50 mg metoprolol tartrate

- 95 mg of metoprolol succinate equivalent to 100 mg of metoprolol succinate equivalent to 100 mg metoprolol tartrate

- The other ingredients are:

-Sartsevina Microcrystalline cellulose, methyl cellulose, corn starch, glycerol, ethyl cellulose, and magnesium stearate.
