WHAT amlodipine alkaloids AND WHAT IT IS USED
Alkaloid amlodipine (amlodipine) is a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers Amlodipine is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and a type of chest pain known as angina pectoris (angina pectoris, angina), a rare form of which is Prinzmetal's angina or variant. In patients with high blood pressure Amlodipine acts as Alkaloid relaxes blood vessels so blood flows more easily through them. In patients with angina pectoris Alkaloid Amlodipine improves blood supply to the heart muscle, which thus receives more oxygen and as a result to prevent chest pain. Alkaloid Amlodipine does not provide immediate relief of chest pain angina.

If you are allergic to amlodipine or other Alkaloid calcium antagonists, or to any of the excipients in the tablet. Allergies can occur with itching, redness and difficulty breathing.

Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Tell your doctor if you are taking sildenafil because of increased hypotensive effect in combination with amlodipine.
Before surgery, tell your doctor or dentist that you are taking amlodipine. Amlodipine Alkaloid with food and drink
Alkaloid Amlodipine can be taken with or without food. Do not increase the intake of grapefruit juice during treatment with amlodipine. Do not use alcohol while taking Amlodipine Alkaloid.
Pregnancy and lactation
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine. Before taking amlodipine Alkaloid tell your doctor if you are pregnant, think you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. He prefers not to take Alkaloid Amlodipine during pregnancy. If you become pregnant during treatment with amlodipine Alkaloid do not forget to share with your doctor. Alkaloid Amlodipine should not be taken during breastfeeding.
Driving and operating machinery
You may experience drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive, operate machinery or perform activities requiring mental alertness until you know how amlodipine affects you. To reduce the risk of dizziness, do not get out of bed and stand up suddenly and quickly, especially if you are elderly.

Amlodipine Alkaloid contains lactose. If your light tells you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
HOW TO TAKE amlodipine alkaloids
Always take Amlodipine Alkaloid, just as you have been told by your doctor. If you're not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose is 5 mg once daily. Subsequently, the dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily based on individual response. It is best to take Amlodipine Alkaloid at the same time each day, with water.
It is important to keep taking Amlodipine Alkaloid unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Consult your doctor or pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care is required. Alkaloid Amlodipine should not be taken by children
If you take more than the dose Amlodipine Alkaloid
If you take an overdose, you should immediately contact your doctor. Symptoms of overdose may include severe dizziness, fainting, fast heartbeat.
If you forget to take Amlodipine Alkaloid
If you accidentally forget to take your daily dose, continue with the next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
If you stop taking Amlodipine Alkaloid
Do not stop suddenly taking amlodipine. Consult your doctor or pharmacist about tapering.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Amlodipine alkaloids can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The most common are: headache, edema (swelling of the ankles), rash, fatigue, nausea, flushing, dizziness, swelling or tenderness of the gums, palpitations (irregular or rapid heart rate). The following effects have been observed in some patients, but the relationship to treatment with amlodipine or morbidity is unclear: heart attack (myocardial infarction), irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia), and chest pain.
All medicines may cause allergic reactions. Serious allergic reactions are very rare and even more rarely life-threatening. Any sudden wheezing, difficulty breathing swelling of eyelids, face or lips, rash or itching (especially affecting the whole body) should be immediately reported to the doctor. If any of the side effects gets serious, or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
HOW TO STORE amlodipine alkaloids
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use Amlodipine Alkaloid after the expiry date stated on the carton (to mark the expiry date are abbreviations). The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not remove the tablet from the blister advance. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
What Amlodipine Alkaloid
The active substance is amlodipine.
Each tablet Alkaloid Amlodipine 10 mg contains 10 mg amlodipine (as amlodipine besilate 13,869 mg).
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.
