WHAT IS THE AGEN AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR ?

Farmakogerapevtichna group: antihypertensives , calcium channel blockers .
Agen belongs to the group of medicines called calcium channel blockers Agen reduces the permeability of calcium channels. It reduces the tonus of the muscle fibers in the walls of blood vessels , and it lowers the blood pressure - blood flow more easily through the blood vessels . Gradual onset of action prevents positional hypotension ( dizziness sudden change of posture ) . Adopting Agen once daily leads to a lowering of blood pressure for a period of 24 hours. Applying an agent once a day in patients with angina ( revealed with a typical chest pain), increases the supply to the heart muscle with blood and therefore oxygen , which leads to reduced angina and nitroglycerin consumption . Patients with heart failure may be used as agents to treat hypertension or angina.

The agen is used for the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris ( chest pain due to insufficient blood supply to the heart muscle) . Can be used alone or in combination with other medicines that lower blood pressure.

2 . BEFORE YOU USE agen

Do not get an agen
• if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient amlodipine or any of the excipients of agents;
• if you suffer from significant aortic stenosis (narrowing of the aortic valve ) , unstable angina (chest pain).

Taking other medicines
