What Aspetax Protect Adipharm and what it is used
Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg belongs to a group of medicines that suppress the aggregation type of blood cells (platelets) and prevent blood clots. Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg has a cardioprotective effect.
treatment of unstable angina;
acute myocardial infarction - as part of standard therapy;
secondary prophylaxis after a myocardial infarction;
after arterial vascular surgery or intervention (after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft in percutaneous trans-luminal coronary angioplasty);
for the prevention of transient ischemic attacks and cerebral infarction, when observed warning symptoms.
Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg is not suitable for the treatment of painful conditions.
2. What you should know before taking Aspetax Protect Adipharm not take Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg in:
known hypersensitivity to aspirin or to any of the excipients contained in the tablets Aspetax Protect Adipharm;
abnormal bleeding tendency;
indigestion, peptic ulcer of the stomach and / or duodenum;
This product should not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy because it may cause serious harm to the fetus can result in delayed or prolonged parturition and prolong bleeding.
During the second trimester of pregnancy medicinal product must not be used unless it is absolutely unavoidable. Other medicines and Aspetax Protect Adipharm
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take other medicines.
Protect Aspetax Adipharm may be reacted with an alcohol, anti-inflammatory agents, anticoagulants, hormones, antidiabetic agents, antiepileptics, probenecid, ginkgo biloba.
Aspetax Adipharm of food, beverages and alcohol
When treated with Aspetax Protect Adipharm and alcohol intake increases the risk of bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility

3. How to take Aspetax Protect Adipharm
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as you told your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. If you are not sure, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
Unless otherwise prescribed recommends the following dosages:
Unstable angina pectoris (chest pain caused by a breach of the blood flow through the coronary arteries of the heart):
The daily dose is between 75 and 300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. On the basis of a well-tolerated, the recommended dose is 1 tablet Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg (equivalent to 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid).
Acute myocardial infarction:
The daily dosage is from 100 to 160 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. The recommended daily dose is 1 tablet Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg (equivalent to 100-150 mg acetylsalicylic acid).
Prophylaxis of re-infarction (secondary prevention of myocardial infarction):
The recommended daily dose is 3 tablets Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg (equivalent to 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid).

The daily dose ranges between 30 mg and 300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. For better tolerance recommended daily dose of 1 tablet Aspetax Protect Adipharm 100 mg.
Tablets to be taken once daily, preferably always at the same time of day, after a meal with a sufficient amount of liquid. In the case of acute myocardial infarction, the first tablet is to be chewed before being swallowed.
If you take more dose Aspetax Protect Adipharm
Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect an overdose of tablets Aspetax Protect Adipharm. The doctor will determine what measures should be taken depending on the severity of overdose (intoxication). Overdose can occur dizziness and tinnitus, especially in children and the elderly.
If you forget to take Aspetax Protect Adipharm

4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines Aspetax Protect Adipharm can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Very common: may affect more than 1 in 10 people;
Common: may affect up to 1 in 10 people;
Uncommon: may affect up to 1 in 100 people;
Rare: may affect up to 1 in 1000 people;
Very rare: may affect up to 1 in 10 000 people;
