AMPICILLIN is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the antibiotics penicillin or beta-lactamase inhibitors.
In this medicinal product, please note the following:
Before each new course of AMPICILLIN patient should be carefully questioned about whether he had previous hypersensitivity reactions to ampicillin, penicillins, cephalosporins, or other drugs.
In the absence of allergies in the past have to do several types of hypersensitivity skin tests. Samples were read after 30 minutes. In the event of severe acute hypersensitivity reactions require application of 0.1 mg - 0.3 mg - 0.5 mg subcutaneous epinephrine, intravenous infusion of corticosteroids, antihistamine, novphylline and selective beta-adrenergic agents in bronchospasm, oxygen, respiration if necessary and intubation.
Caution is recommended and medical supervision after the first injection in patients hypersensitive to penicillin, penicillamine, cephalosporins, and griseofulvin. In patients with allergic diathesis, caution is required when applying Ampisultsilin. If there is some form of allergy recommended to stop using the drug and appropriate therapy.
Recommended AMPICILLIN not apply to patients with infectious mononucleosis and lymphatic leukemia, due to the increased risk of developing a maculopapular rash caused by the product contained ampicillin.
During prolonged treatment with AMPICILLIN require periodic monitoring of renal, hepatic and hematopoietic function. This is particularly important in neonates and premature infants.
Ampisultsilin as all antibacterial agents, increases the risk of additional fungal or bacterial causes some resistant. Possible development of pseudomembranous colitis. In such cases, interrupting the use of the drug and the appropriate therapy.
AMPICILLIN use in pregnant should proceed with caution if clearly indicated.
Ampisultsilin decreased muscle tone, frequency and strength of contractions during labor.
