AMBRIN WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED
Your medicine is called Ambrin and is creamy-white , oval , flat tabletki.Vsyaka effervescent tablet contains 30.0 mg of the active ingredient ambroxol hydrochloride. In one package contains 20 individually wrapped effervescent tablets. Ambrin liquefies bronchial secretion , enhances the effect of the cilia on the bronchial mucosa , which leads to easier removal of the secretions . Ambrin be used in cases of short-term treatment of acute and chronic diseases occurring with thickening of bronchial secretions such as bronchitis - acute and chronic bronchiectasis liquefaction of bronchial secretions in inflammatory diseases in the nasopharynx
 
2 . BEFORE YOU TAKE AMBRIN
Do not take Ambrin :
- If you are allergic to pravastatin Sodium PCA , or to any of the substances constituting the effervescent tablets ( see item 6 'Further information' ) ;
- In patients with impaired transport of mucus in the bronchi , the tablets should be used with caution because of the risk of retention of mucus .
 
Take special care with Ambrin
Check with your doctor :
if you have kidney problems ;
if you have liver problems ;
if you are taking other drugs with or without prescription ;
when symptoms persist for more than 14 days and / or if the condition worsens despite treatment ;
Not recommended for use of the product more than 5 days without a recommendation from a doctor.
 
Using other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. This is especially true for the following medicinal products:
- Other antitussive as combining them with Ambrin can lead to a dangerous retention bronchial secretions due to suppression of cough reflex
- Antibiotics amoxicillin , cefuroxime and erythromycin , since concomitant use with Ambrin penetrate to a greater extent in bronchial secretions
 
Use of Ambrin with food and drink
Ambrin tablets should be taken not chewed after food, dissolved in a sufficient amount of fluid ( e.g., water, coffee) , as secretolytic effect of the tablets increases by drinking.
 
Pregnancy and lactation

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during the course of treatment. Ambrin should not be taken during pregnancy, especially in the first three months.
breastfeeding
The product passes into breast milk but is unlikely at therapeutic doses affect the infant.
 
Driving and using machines
No evidence of effect on ability to drive and use machines.
 
 
3 . HOW TO TAKE AMBRIN
Always take Ambrin exactly as your doctor tells you . If you are unsure 3 , talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and children over 12 years
During the first 2-3 days, the usual dose is 1 tablet 3 times daily , and then take 1 tablet 2 times daily.
Children 6-12 years
The usual dosage is 1/2 tablet 2-3 times a day .
 
If you take more dose Ambrin
Overdose occur nausea , vomiting, sore throat and stomach or abdominal pain. More rarely may occur fall in blood pressure. As a first step in the treatment of poisoning is to induce vomiting and drinking (tea, milk) . If the product is passed by at least 1-2 hours , is to implement a gastric lavage. Patient should be placed under surveillance.
 
If you forget to take Ambrin
Do not take a double dose to make up !

4 . POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Ambrin can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them poluchava.V rare cases, treatment with ambroxol can be observed reactions of the gastrointestinal tract ( nausea , bloating , abdominal pain).
Very rarely the conditions of allergic reaction may be exacerbated after administration of Ambrin . Symptoms of an allergic reaction include :
- Skin rashes
- Difficulty breathing
- Swelling of the face , lips, tongue or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing .
If any of the side effects gets serious , or you notice other effects not listed in this leaflet , please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
 
5 . HOW TO STORE AMBRIN
Store at room temperature below 25 ° C , in the original package . Keep out of reach of children.
Ambrin not use after the expiry date stated on the carton . The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required . These measures will help to protect the environment.
