What is Allegra 120 mg and what it is used?
Feksofenadinov hydrochloride, the active ingredient of Allegra 120 mg, is the product of a group of medicines called antihistamines .
For what use Allegra 120 mg?
Allegra 120 mg is used in adults and adolescents 12 years and older to relieve the symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) such as sneezing, itchy , runny and stuffy nose, and itchy , red and watery eyes .

Do not take Allegra 120 mg and tell your doctor if:
you are allergic ( hypersensitive) to fexofenadine , other antihistamines any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in item 6 )

you have liver problems or kidney problems ;

Other medicines and Allegra 120 mg
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
If you are using medicines that contain aluminum and magnesium , it is recommended to predict about 2 hours between the time you take Allegra 120 mg and other medicines. This is because they can affect the operation of Allegra 120 mg, and reduce the amount of administered drug .
Pregnancy and lactation
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant or plan to become pregnant .
Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed .
Allegra 120 mg should be used during pregnancy , unless it is necessary.
Allegra 120 mg is not recommended in breastfeeding women.
Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any other medication .
Driving and using machines
Unlikely Allegra 120 mg cause drowsiness, so that you can drive or operate machinery while taking Allegra 120 mg. However, you should make sure that you are not affected in this way, and that you feel drowsy and dizzy before driving or performing tasks which require concentration.

How much to take
Adults and children over 12 years:
Unless otherwise prescribed , the recommended dose is I tablet (120 mg) daily with a glass of water before meals .
If you take an overdose of Allegra 120 mg
If you accidentally take too many tablets , contact your doctor for advice or go to the nearest hospital . Symptoms of overdose include dizziness , drowsiness , fatigue and dry mouth .
If you forget to take Allegra 120 mg
Take Allegra 120 mg always exactly the instructions in this leaflet ;
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember . However, when the time you need to take the next dose with close , you should take only a single dose as usual ;
Do not take more than the recommended in this leaflet dose Allegra 120 mg;
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
If you stop taking Allegra 120 mg
Ask your doctor if you should stop taking Allegra 120 mg, before you finish your treatment. If you stop taking Allegra 120 mg earlier than planned. Your symptoms may recur .

4 . Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Allegra 120 mg can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them .
Tell your doctor immediately and stop taking Allegra 120 mg if you get swelling of the face, lips or tongue , because it could be signs of a severe allergic reaction.
Common side effects (in less than 1 in 10 and more than 1 in 100 patients) : headache, drowsiness , nausea, dizziness .
Uncommon side effects (in less than 1 in 100 and more than 1 in 1000 patients) : fatigue / drowsiness.
Not known: severe allergic reactions manifested by angioedema (swelling of face, lips , tongue or throat) , chest tightness , difficulty breathing , flushing , insomnia (difficulty sleeping ) , sleep disturbances , nervousness, sleep disturbances or nightmares fast or irregular heartbeat , diarrhea , rash , hives, itching.
If you get any side effects, tell your doctor or pharmacist. This includes all listed in this leaflet .
5 . How to store Allegra 120 mg?
Keep persons out of reach of children.
Do not use Allegra 120 mg after the expiry date stated on the pack .
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Not require specific conservation measures .
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required . These measures will help to protect the environment.

What does Allegra 120 mg?
The active substance is feksofenadinov hydrochloride (fexofenadine hydrochloride).
Each tablet contains 120 mg feksofenadinov hydrochloride as the relevant quantity is indicated on the blister and carton
Other ingredients are:
tablet core : microcrystalline cellulose , pregelatinized corn starch , croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
tablet coating: hipromelozalovidon , titanium dioxide (E171 ) , silica , colloidal anhydrous , macrogol 400, iron oxide (E 172).
